1. Do heat pumps work in cold weather?
Yes. Air source heat pumps extract heat from the outside air, even in colder temperatures, to provide heating and hot water.

2. Can it replace my boiler?
In many cases, yes. Heat pumps can provide an alternative to gas, oil and LPG heating. Every system is designed around the individual property and its heating requirements.

3. How much do they cost?
The cost varies depending on the property and system required. We assess your home and provide a tailored quotation based on its individual requirements.

4. Are they suitable for my home?
They can work with radiators, underfloor heating and hot water cylinders. We carry out a full heat-loss calculation to determine the appropriate system for your property.

5. Am I eligible for a grant?
The Government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme currently provides up to £7,500 towards an eligible air source heat pump. Eligible off-gas-grid properties replacing oil or LPG heating may qualify for £9,000.

Winter's creeping up on us! Is your heating actually ready for it?

With energy bills going up again from October, now's a great time to get ahead before the cold really kicks in. A few quick wins:

-Book your annual service (especially important if you've got a heat pump, keeps it running efficiently and protects your warranty)

-Bleed those radiators if they're not heating evenly

-Double check your thermostat/timer settings are ready for shorter days

If your current setup's on its last legs, or you've been thinking about switching to a heat pump, now's genuinely a good time, grants are still available and it only makes more sense with bills climbing!

Energy Bills Are Rising Again From October.

Ofgem have confirmed the energy price cap will rise by 4% from 1st October, an increase of £60 a year for a typical household, bringing the annual cost to £1,723.

It's the latest in a series of rises this year, and it means many homes and businesses across Lincolnshire will feel the impact once again this winter, whether that's a household energy bill or rising overheads for a commercial premises.

Another installation completed, this time a Sunsynk all-in-one inverter and battery storage system.
