‼️ The cheaper quote ladies and gentlemen ‼️

We can’t stress enough the importance of having an approved electrical contractor under taking works at YOUR property.

A legitimate contractor would not be insulted if you were to ask them for their credentials and insurances, so please ensure sure you check before allowing rogues to run freely in your home.

This is a recent installation that on the face of things looked ok, however a quick drop of the accessories and lack of paperwork suggests otherwise.

We’d asked the client if this had been wired by a toddler, but it just so happened they were a legitimate plumbing/electrical firm.. apparently!
Maybe they should stick to water management .

We recently upgraded this property from an outdated 16th Edition consumer unit to a fully compliant 18th Edition consumer unit, ensuring the installation is safer and better suited for the customer’s upcoming renovation works.

Upon visiting, we found several issues with the existing board, including:

⚠️ Mismatched circuit breakers
⚠️ No cable restraints
⚠️ An installation that no longer met current safety standards

At Amp Up Electrical, we recently completed a new sub-consumer unit installation for a residential customer to provide a dedicated supply for their new air conditioning system. Installed by KOLD AIR LTD⚡❄️

The existing consumer unit was completely full and no longer compliant with current regulations, making this an affordable and practical solution without the need for a full consumer unit replacement.

We’ve also installed a Surge Protection Device (SPD) to help protect the customer’s new air conditioning equipment from transient overvoltages, giving them added peace of mind and helping safeguard their investment.
