Another EICR and remedial works done for a Landlord in Rathfern,
Old combustible consumer unit located under wooden stairs, changed to satisfy the latest regulations, a metal clad noncombustible unit, complete with Surge protection and RCBOs.
There was no smoke alarms in the property, so we’ve fitted 10 year lifespan battery interlinking smoke detectors plus a heat detector in the kitchen to satisfy Landlord regs.
Few damaged sockets and pendants also replaced.
All sorted and a Satisfactory certificate completed.

A couple of consumer unit upgrades done today,
Two old fire combustible plastic units with cartridge fuses and no RCD protection replaced with up to the current regulations non combustible units complete with individual circuit RCBOs and Surge Protection.
It is a recommendation on every Electrical Installation Condition Report, (EICR) that this is done.
