Out with the old, in with the new 🔧🔥

This job involved replacing an oil boiler after the original unit suffered a split heat exchanger — not something you can patch up safely or reliably.

We’ve now installed a brand new Grant Vortex 50-90, restoring efficient and dependable heating for the property. 💪

🔥 Heating Fault Report – Worcester Boiler Leak (Flow Turbine Adapter)

Attended property following reports of a water leak from the boiler 💧. On inspection, identified the source of the leak as the flow turbine adapter assembly. Evidence of water ingress and wear was visible around the adapter housing, with active dripping present during operation 🔍.

Isolated the boiler and drained the system to allow safe removal of the faulty component 🛠️. The flow turbine adapter was removed and inspected, confirming seal failure within the unit ❌.

A new manufacturer-approved flow turbine adapter was fitted, ensuring all connections were correctly aligned and securely fastened 🔧. System was then refilled, repressurised, and fully tested ✅.

Following installation, no further leaks were observed 🚫💧. Boiler was run through operational checks, including hot water demand, confirming correct function and stable performance 🔄.

Outcome:Fault successfully resolved by replacement of defective flow turbine adapter 🎯. System is now operating normally with no signs of leakage 👍.

We recently attended a Worcester boiler that had developed a fan fault — the fan was pulsing and struggling to run properly, which can lead to unreliable performance and potential shutdowns.

After diagnosing the issue, we replaced the faulty fan with a brand new unit. Once fitted and tested, the boiler was back up and running smoothly again ✅🔥
