Halfmoon Gardens

Halfmoon Gardens We are retired gardeners, now focussing on our own sustainable garden and volunteering at the Croft

We have retired from our gardening and cut flower business, and are now focussed on developing our own garden in a sustainable way, rearing hens, and volunteering for two local (Machars in Dumfries and Galloway) projects. The MAC-CAN Croft, in Whithorn, https://www.facebook.com/groups/175945297975258/ is a garden developing a forest garden and no-dig areas, works with volunteers to learn how to g

arden along permaculture and nature-positive lines, and Bee Positive DG8, https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61553769810938 started in August 2023, is working with local communities to learn about and support our pollinators, giving advice and support to maintain and develop their habitat, including not mowing gardens, verges and understanding how to manage the valuable grassland species we have all around us.
