That time of year again. Interrogation by the NIC EIC. Assessment tomorrow. We are assessed every 12 months to make sure that we have all of our insurances in place, all of my health and safety / risk assessment and test kit calibration and ongoing accuracy test record up to date, carry out relevant training/online or meeting ie wholesalers , Breakfast mornings, all paperwork in place and up-to-date ie certificates and building part p notifications, Then out on site for an assessment of questions and electrical testing. Oh it’s great 😊. 🙈🙈. Wish me luck ⚡️⚡️⚡️.

Not much to see here. Other than some works carried out at the Tuckers Malting building last week by myself, for a charity called
wellbeing in action
This company help and support people & who are in need with emotional and financial support.

And i will say it’s a lovely building. Even a pub afew doors down 🍻.

Install of some pvc conduit with panel heaters to warm the place up for there massively booked venue. It has lots to offer people.

Another NIC EIC assessment passed with flying colours today. Nic eic contractors have these annually to make sure that we have the correct, public liability and indemnity insurance in place, calibration of test kits and test instrument accuracy, checked monthly and recorded,

Also Up to date on the latest electrical regulation courses. 

The latest regulations and have the newest books from electrical regulations bs7671/part p
(There’s many more)

Certification and building notifications all completed and submitted to local councils.

Not to forget the onsite assessment today and demonstration of electrical testing and knowledge of BS7671 electrical regulations.
Not to forget a good rummage through all of my online certification. 

These are just afew things that we need to carry out our jobs daily to be a sparky.
Always use an approved electrician.

Plenty out there that isn’t.

Busy year ahead. ⚡️⚡️⚡️.
