Following on from the recent expansion of our team and the work schedule filling up fast, we are looking to take on qualified electricians on either an employed or self employed basis. Sub contract teams would also be beneficial to us.
We are looking for the perfect candidate to join our growing electrical firm based in Torbay but covering the SW and south of the UK, depending on candidates location, you will be required to travel and stay away from home during the week.
TenTen Solutions are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with an extensive variety of experience within the electrical industry, which will include working within both domestic and commercial sectors.
You will be expected to possess and demonstrate a high level of competence in all aspects of electrical installation, predominantly commercial shop fitting, refurbishment projects and new installations but also, planned and reactive maintenance, testing and inspection, fault finding and engaging with clients and tenants.
Minimum requirements for the successful candidate include:
- Competency in inspection, testing, certification and reporting (Initial Verification and Periodic/EICR)
- Must work to BS7671 18th Edition regulations to a good and efficient standard
- 1 years + (post qualified) hands on experience in the electrical industry
- Must be reliable, self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, be able to liaise professionally and in a pleasant manner and have pride in impeccable time keeping.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent craft qualification in Electrical Engineering)
- 18th Edition BS7671 qualification
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (not required but advantageous)
- A full UK driving licence
Job roles:
- Test and inspect your own and others work to ensure a safe and effective installation
- Undertake maintenance works orders and ensure all requirements are fully undertaken
- Fault finding, diagnosis and repair
- Electrical Installation Condition Reports
