Work carried out on a Grade 2 listed building with random width diminishing slates as you can see the original slates had fallen off due to old age, these slates were approximately 100 years old. Replaced with Delabole slate and wooden oak pegs to keep the integrity of the existing building. Extremely difficult work as a very traditional way of fixing slates going back 100s of years. Really enjoyed this job nice to be mindful of old traditions. 🏡

To stop water entering the chimney we have made a four flue lead tray, ready for the builder to rebuild the chimney, any enquires please just ask. Nick 🏡
