The Role�We are looking for a skilled and motivated Landscaper to join our team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out a wide range of landscaping tasks including paving, turfing, fencing, decking, and planting
* Assist with garden design implementations and site preparation
* Operate tools and machinery safely and effectively
* Work as part of a team to complete projects on time and to a high standard
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Communicate professionally with clients when required
Requirements
* Previous experience in landscaping or a similar role (preferred)
* Good knowledge of landscaping techniques and materials
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

We’ve recently been working in kingsteignton after John contacted us requesting a quote to extend a patio. They had just moved into their new build property which came with an unusually large garden, for a new build, and a small patio. These guys wanted something modem/contemporary and low maintenance, I think we nailed it with this tidy looking porcelain patio, using 600x900mm slab’s really accommodates the large space. Plenty of room to kick back and enjoy the view.

Not all jobs feature big impressive installations, sometimes you need lots of smaller tasks just to tidy the place up. This is what we’ve been doing for Rupert and Cathy in teignmouth as they’ve recently moved to their new home.

Knocked down a brick boundary wall that was leaning precariously into the neighbours garden, cleaned the imperial sized hand made bricks and rebuilt with added piers for support.

Took out some small trees and a raised border, then extended the patio and brick border.

Added a large pier at the end of the wall where a large tree had pushed it over and erected a small fence behind the tree.

Replaced some steps with wider and bigger treads using some reclaimed paving slabs.

We’re taking a brake on this one for the moment, we’ll definitely be back for more of Cathy’s cakes!

This last project we had the joy to be working in Buckland on the moor, Dartmoor, the property nestled away in a wooded area with fantastic views. Clare and Sam had just moved into their 100 year old stone cottage and needed the rear decking replaced along with access step to the garden. We used red wood timber deck boards to match the natural surroundings and a chunky handrail on an American style balustrade. Perfect to rest a beer on and enjoy view.
We also built a log store and bordered the garden with 1.2m high stock fence to help keep the dogs in.

We’ve just completed a small garden wall in Kingsteignton for Michael and Margaret. The wall we replaced was a half brick construction with one large pier which hung a gate and two small piers for mid support, some of the bricks had frost damage and the mortar had lost its bound so it wasn’t looking nice.

These guys wanted a new brick wall but a stronger construction also keeping the pier on the end but making it narrower to increase the driveway entrance.

We achieved all of their goals building a solid single brick wall using English bond (the strongest of bonds) and a narrow pier. It looks great, neat and tidy.
