Summer might be ending, but your solar panels don’t stop working. ☀️🍂 Solar generates electricity from daylight, not heat, so even through autumn and winter your system is still helping to power your home and reduce what you buy from the grid. Around 30% of a typical UK solar system’s annual generation can still come during the colder half of the year, and adding battery storage helps you make even better use of every bit you generate. Summer will always produce the biggest numbers, but solar is a 12-month investment, not just a fair-weather one.

September! The month of rain, darker nights and mornings, and the temperature drops!

Why not take on a charity running challenge of 60 miles then!

Crohn’s disease is a horrendous condition that affects my family. My son has just had a section of his small bowel removed after a long period of pain, discomfort and perseverance. Hopefully now he will be on the road to recovery!

Today I’ve ran 6.6 miles, trail running and it was great to be out in the fresh air, enjoying the bird song and losing myself!

So far I’ve raised £500. Would you help me raise more? If you can spare anything, it will go to ongoing research and development into treatment and medical support to help defeat this awful disease.
