Yard & Hardware Store Assistant
Full-Time | Competitive Pay | Immediate Start
We’re a busy, family-run hardware and construction business looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our team.
This is a varied role, so if you like being active and enjoy something different every day, we’d love to hear from you!
What you’ll be doing:
✔ Serving customers in our hardware shop.
✔ Ordering materials for our construction team.
✔ Receiving and organising deliveries.
✔ Loading and unloading vehicles.
✔ Operating a forklift (experience preferred but training can be provided).
✔ Keeping the yard and shop organised and running smoothly.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
• Have a positive attitude and are willing to learn.
• Are reliable and take pride in your work.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Can use your own initiative.
• Have good customer service skills.
• Hold a full driving licence.
Previous experience in hardware, builders’ merchants, warehouses, agriculture, or construction would be an advantage, but it’s not essential we’re happy to train the right person.
