We are so excited to share an update on this fantastic double-storey extension taking shape in Cambourne! The build is really moving along, and the roof trusses are now being added to form the final structure.

The new proposal removes an outdated conservatory to make way for a substantial two-storey addition that will transform the property. Once complete, the ground floor will feature a brand new garage alongside a spacious new living area. Upstairs, the home will benefit from two generous new bedrooms, including a beautiful new en-suite.

Our team was thrilled to handle the entire pre-construction package for this build. We took care of the initial measured survey and design, successfully secured the planning application, and drew up the full building regulations and structural calculations to ensure everything was perfectly teed up for construction.

The best part of this project is that our client, Laurie Manna Carpentry, is actually building it himself! It is always incredibly rewarding to design a project, hand over the technical drawings, and watch a skilled craftsman bring our work to life.

Making serious progress down in Newquay! 🌊🏡

The shape of this double-storey extension is really coming to life. The foundation slab is poured, the ground-floor timber frame is fully installed, and as you can see, the first-floor timber frame is now officially up! 🏗️🪵

Once complete, this extension will completely transform the home, giving the clients a massive new open-plan kitchen and a handy additional downstairs WC. Upstairs, it will feature a stunning new master bedroom complete with a private en-suite. ✨

We love seeing our designs become reality! For this project, our team handled the vital pre-construction phase, drawing up and submitting all the building regulations to ensure a smooth, compliant, and structurally sound build from day one. 📐🖊️

Take a look at one of our more recent residential projects in Newquay, we produced the comprehensive technical drawings and coordinated the structural calculations to facilitate a highly ambitious spatial reconfiguration.

The core of our design strategy involved eliminating the dividing wall between the kitchen and dining room, alongside the removal of an existing false ceiling, to introduce a striking double-height vaulted space for the kitchen diner.

The forthcoming phase of this project will see the removal of the existing conservatory, which will be replaced with an expansive external decking area to gracefully connect the interior spaces with the outdoors.

The client has done a great job transforming this space tasked to transform a traditional 1950s three-bedroom bungalow into a sophisticated, Mid-Century Modern family home.

We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the building regulations package for this fantastic project in Tregurrian, Watergate Bay.

After a long process through planning, being denied first time around, subsequently altering the design of the extension roof orientation and supporting our second revision with a comprehensive Design And Access Statement we worked both with the planners and our clients to achieve a successful decision.

The old dilapidated cob extension is to be removed and a modern two storey extension to be put in place, providing a utility room and open plan kitchen diner on the ground floor which flows into the newly designed garden space and on the first floor a large master bedroom with vaulted ceilings which cantilevers over into the garden, walk in wardrobe, en-suite, guest wc, study and rooftop balcony serves to provide the house with plenty of amenity space and fit for our clients needs.

We are now drawing up the building regulation package ready for submission and can’t wait to break ground with this one.

Reflecting back on a project designed and delivered this November in SW London. Client came to us needing a revamp of her bathroom and we worked with her to design and build a space unique to her requirements. Complete rip out for this space, marble style porcelain slabs through out, high quality farmhouse style fixtures and low profile step in shower and bespoke fitted cupboard really has transformed the space.

Situated in central Treviscoe, Cornwall, this ambitious self-build barn conversion presents a fascinating architectural dichotomy, replacing a dilapidated structure by meticulously reusing its original footprint to establish two contemporary timber-clad wings unified by a striking, reinstated central stone portal barn. Internally, the spatial hierarchy revolves around a dramatic, double-height open-plan kitchen and living area, thoughtfully overlooked by a suspended mezzanine games room that maximizes both vertical volume and natural light.
