This week we’ve been installing the lead vally’s and laying these beautiful slates.

The great British weather has finally made an appearance, so here’s a shot from yesterday while the sun was out! ☀️

The roof is really starting to come together now.

🏠 First Week Down in Newquay! 🏠

That’s the first week completed on our latest Newquay project, and we’ve made great progress.

We’ve completely stripped the old ridges, slates and battens, ready for a fresh start. We’re now installing a premium heavy-duty breathable membrane along with Super Yellow Grade treated battens, providing a strong and durable foundation for the new roof.

Next week, we are installing premium slates from the Lugo province of northern Spain to bring this roof transformation to life. 🔨🏠

New Project in Newquay!

🏠 This Week’s Update on 53 🏠

The lower extensions are now almost complete, using a smaller slate to complement the scale and proportions of the building.

Just a couple more days of work and a few finishing touches, and we’ll be wrapping things up here before heading back to Cornwall to start our next project in Newquay.

We’ve now completed the main roof at No. 53, along with brand-new fascia, soffits, and guttering. Here’s a sneak preview of the transformation so far.

Next, we’ll be moving on to the lower roof sections to complete the project. Stay tuned for more progress updates! 🏠🔨

We’re currently transforming this tired old tiled roof with these beautiful natural slates. It’s great to see the character of the property being brought back to life, and we can’t wait to share the finished result.
