Another professional job completed today in Chepstow by City Locksmiths Gwent Ltd on a Saturday.
This customer called me on 07595 431870 📞 as they couldn't fully engage they're uPVC door.

On inspection i could see the reason why!

The internal mpl centre gearbox had completely collapsed.
Not a problem for City Locksmiths Gwent Ltd as i had all the replacement parts on my fully equipped Van including a new mpl centre gearbox, Handles and a ts007 1 star 🌟 snapsafe cylinder.

The 1st customer had an old faulty multipoint mechanism which had previously had a bit of work doing to.it but was still causing problems so I did a full upgrade including a multipoint mechanism, Sprung Handles and a ts007 1 star 🌟 snapsafe cylinder.
The 2nd customer had just moved into they're new property and wanted a [Keyed Alike] system for all 3 x uPVC/ composite doors
I supplied and fitted 3 x ts007 1 star 🌟 snapsafe cylinders with 5 keys 🔑 that would open all 3 cylinders.

This customer called me on 07595 431870 📞 as im a professional & experienced uPVC door & window repairs specialists.

This particular customer had a bad experience with another Locksmith so I attended and completed the job without any problems.

I supplied and fitted a new mpl centre gearbox which I stocked on my fully equipped Van & i fitted the customers handles.... Job completed!

Hello 👋 I'm Nick the owner of City Locksmiths Gwent Ltd & today i attended a customer who'd unfortunately had the mis pleasure of becoming another victim of a NATIONAL COMPANY.

This company sent out a sub contractor in a CAR without any knowledge, Skills, tools or being DBS Checked.
He drilled into the multipoint mechanism 6 times and completely destroyed the gearbox as you can see. He then fitted a new cylinder and said it was working. He then proceeded to say the bill was almost £700-00 including vat.
The customer paid unfortunately not aware that the door still wouldn't lock.
I arranged to attend today to investigate and I was horrified.... the damaged caused was unbelievable and the price was criminal...but guess what they're VAT number is FAKE!!

DON'T USE NATIONAL COMPANIES or you will end up like this customer.
