Another job wrapped up this week.
Again reusing the old with the new.
Chemically cleaned the old slabs and mixed in a blend of langstone sandstone and raj green which came out perfect!!
Huge dig as the ground was extremely soft. Around 35tonne came out!!

So we extended the patio and softened the edges with a 38mm Boston Astro turf.
Tidied the sides using a golden flint and a traditional sand and cement pointed patio.
Absolutely stunning!
And on to the next!!

Thanks to all my customer’s old and new who wait a long time to get there garden’s done. We are only a 3 man team and with the great British weather it does have a massive knock on with jobs booked in.

Full rip out,new slatted fencing and lovely Kandla grey porcelain paving.

Job completed in crumlin.
Brand new deck as the old one was slightly rotten! Raised the to sections of the garden to level is all up using sleepers and topped off with a blur slate.
Kandla grey patio and a bit of Astro turf to finish the garden off.

A lovely porcelain patio wrapped up this week.
Glad to have a nice bit of sunshine al last!!!

Driveway in Caerphilly.
18 years ago this was layed by the customer and believe it or not this is the same driveway!!! (Different edge to pick up on the house detail)
We up lifted and cleaned each block, checked the foundations and topped up the groundwork. Then we chemically cleaned them,new drainage and then relayed the drive in a herringbone style as this is a much stronger pattern!
Very happy with the outcome and the pictures really show that this drive looks brand new!!

A re visit to a job we completed a few years back. Still looking stunning but the owner was fed up with the boggy grass and constant cleaning down of the patio!
So we stripped the grass,dug the mud out prepped the ground and installed a stunning new lawn! 2 days from start to finish!

Another mucky job for us this year! More soft deep clay all dug by hand!
But again we managed to transform this area into a modern usable space all ready for when the weather breaks!(not holding my breath!)

With the weather conditions we have here in wales I’ve noticed a lot more customers are choosing concrete posts and kick boards with panels instead of the traditional timber posts and feather edge fencing.
A big factor is the longevity of this. Personally feather edge is more attractive but with timber posts sometimes only lasting 5/7 years I going forward this will be a much preferred fencing method

12 ton of sopping clay dug out,5 ton of concrete brought in to strengthen the ground,drainage round the perimeter of the patio which was definitely needed! Then Marshall’s 6x6 buff slabs layed. Looking lovely in readiness for the customers pub to be christened when the sun comes out!!! And a little visit of the local pheasant!
