Quick turnaround on a Ground Screw Installation job for Ryde School this week. We supplied and installed 1m FIRST BASE Ground Screws UK Ground Screws and a timber base to support their Drum Room that they were taking down and relocating to the new area.

Couple of jobs from last week

1st set in 4 x 1.5m and 4 x 2m
FIRST BASE Ground Screws UK for foundation of a static caravan that was lifted in by Island Crane Hire 2nd we set in a mixture of 1m , 1.5m and 2m ground screws to relocate a customers existing garden building to another location

Nice little job to start the year off ,the only access was through the building so we used the electric driver installing 8 x firstbase ground screws for a small conference room for a school on Ventnor.

Here we used 89mm x 6m long Industrial FIRST BASE Ground Screws UK for the new National Trust Isle of Wight Toilet Block at Compton Bay Carpark. The Building is Gibbs Timber Frame and is deigned that if the cliff collapsed further then the building can be separated into 3 sections and moved. We are also able to remove our Ground Screws and re-use them in a new location. Static load tests were carried out with full reports submitted to building control alongside a structural engineers report.

Here we installed 3m and 4m x 76mm Ground Screws as a foundation for a Sydenhams designed and installed timber extension on their house and also a free standing snooker room. 3m and 4m FIRST BASE Ground Screws UK were used because of trees and clay ground conditions to prevent any heave. Because the the buildings were at different distances from the trees it meant different lengths screws could be used. Static load tests were carried out with full reports submitted to building control alongside a structural engineers report.
