Hardlines Coffee Roastery ☕️

Walls finished in Johnstone’s Acrylic Durable Matt in Sailing Boat, with all woodwork finished in matching eggshell.

The internal doors were finished in Hardlines Red, with the factory-facing sides finished in RAL 3028 to tie everything together.

Commercial spaces don’t have to be boring — a well-chosen colour scheme can completely transform the feel of a workspace.

A fresh transformation on this staircase 👌

Mermaid Lagoon and Malted Mint bringing this staircase to life, finished in Johnstone’s Acrylic Durable Matt and Perfect Matt.

All the woodwork finished in Johnstone’s Aqua Guard Satin for a hard-wearing, clean finish.

Really happy with how this one has come together — the colours work so well with the natural oak handrail 👌

🏆 A bit of good news for JMS…

I’m really pleased to share that JMS Painting & Decorating has been awarded Painting & Decorating Company of the Year – Wales in the Prestige Awards 2026/27.

It’s something I’m genuinely very proud of. A lot of hard work goes into keeping the business going, and it’s great to have that recognised.

Another one wrapped up. 👌

This project was completed in a beautiful old country house, where keeping the character of the property was just as important as giving it a fresh new look.

From the rich stained timber window cills to the crisp white woodwork and carefully chosen heritage colours, every detail was finished to complement the character of the home rather than take away from it.

Period homes deserve a different approach, and they’re some of my favourite projects to work on.

Another hall, stairs and landing completed this week 🎨

Full prep carried out and everything sanded down using our dustless system, keeping it clean from start to finish.

Top half finished in Johnstone’s Perfect Matt Brilliant White for a fresh, modern look, with the lower half in Johnstone’s Acrylic Durable “Perfectly Taupe” — ideal for a tougher, hard-wearing finish in high traffic areas.

All woodwork completed in Johnstone’s Aqua Guard Satin for a smooth, durable finish that will last.

Quality materials make all the difference on a job like this and it shows in the final result 👌
