🌿 A Little Story About Judgement… and African violets.
I’ve loved African violets since I was a little girl.
Yes — me. A middle‑aged woman, full‑time dentist, mother, wife… still obsessed with these lovely plants.
And you wouldn’t believe how many people react with:
“Really? You like African violets?”
“Isn’t that for older people?”
“Shouldn’t a cosmetic dentist have more… sophisticated hobbies?”
“Yachts? Designer clothes? A mansion? And definitely no dirt under the nails?”
But here’s the truth:
Hobbies don’t have an age, a status, or a profession attached to them.
You’re allowed to love whatever brings you joy — plants, pottery, poetry, or plants that bloom only when they feel loved.
I stopped posting photos of my loved plants for a while because some comments weren’t very kind.
But I’m done hiding the things that make me happy.
So here I am — inviting you to follow both sides of my world:
🌿 My page where I share my love for African violets
🦷 And my cosmetic dentistry page, where I care for smiles with the same patience and passion.
I love my job.
I love my plants.
And I hope you’ll let me enjoy both — kindly.
So today, I’m inviting you to follow the other side of my world:

Because honestly… they’re not that different.
You’ll see the same care, patience, hydration, nourishment, and long‑term love I give my plants… just applied to smiles instead.
Come join me on my dental page. Let’s grow confidence the same way we grow our plants 🌿💜
