🌤️ A cracking new outdoor area completed in Undy!

This one was for a returning customer, which is always great to see 🙌

We built a 4.8m x 4m covered area, creating a proper usable space for sitting out, relaxing and enjoying the garden whatever the weather decides to do.

✅ Heavy-duty timber structure
✅ Posts fitted with Postsaver sleeves for added protection
✅ 25mm opal polycarbonate roof
✅ Plenty of light, while still giving great shelter

A simple addition, but one that completely changes how the garden can be used 👌

🌿 What a difference losing a hedge can make!

Around 40m of new 1.0m high featheredge fencing installed in Itton for this one 👌

We completely forgot the “before” photos 🤦‍♂️… but there was a substantial hedge here beforehand!

A big shoutout to Lewis Ryan for removing the hedge and dealing with all the roots beforehand — top job as always 👏

With the hedge gone and the new fence following the boundary, both sides have gained around half a metre of garden back — a surprising amount of extra space to enjoy, tend to and explore 🌱

Much neater, much easier to maintain and a lovely clean boundary.

And apparently it passed the neighbour test too… 👀

One of the neighbours popped over to inspect the finished job and ended up booking us in to do theirs! 😂🙌

It’s not always about the long runs of fencing and the “big jobs” 👌

We’re equally at home taking care of those smaller jobs that people sometimes worry might be “too small” to bother with.

For this one, we replaced the old panels with new arched featheredge panels, fitted into the existing concrete posts and gravel boards — giving the garden a fresh new look without breaking the bank 🌿

We also made and fitted a section of trellis to match the existing one, extending it neatly and keeping everything looking consistent.

Sometimes a few simple changes can make a huge difference 👍

A solid 40m run of 2m high featheredge fencing completed recently 💪

This one was a little tricky to nail, with the new fence running very close alongside an established hedge. Careful setting out and working in tight access was needed throughout, but the end result is a smart, strong boundary that gives plenty of privacy and blends in naturally with the garden.

All timber posts were fitted with PostSaver sleeves for added protection below ground level — the area where timber posts are most vulnerable to rot.

PostSaver sleeves help:
✅ Protect the post where soil, moisture and oxygen meet
✅ Reduce the risk of premature post rot
✅ Extend the working life of the fence
✅ Give customers extra peace of mind on a long-term investment

Finished with closeboard featheredge boards for a traditional, durable fence built to stand the test of time.

A lovely little return visit in Penhow 🛠️

We originally completed this fence last year, and after a tree was removed, the customer asked us back to add a few final bays and neatly finish off the boundary.

The new section was completed using Brown DuraPost Prima posts and gravel boards, paired with featheredge panels and a handmade trellis end panel to tie everything together. The finished result blends in brilliantly with the existing work and gives the garden a smart, private, low-maintenance boundary.

It is always great to be asked back by previous customers. Building long-term relationships, helping people improve their outdoor spaces over time, and being the person they can call when the next job comes up is what it is all about.

We also had two very curious alpacas keeping an eye on proceedings from the neighbouring field… quality control was clearly taken very seriously! 🦙🦙
