Well that’s the school holiday over and the end of my usual sporadic days off with my daughters .
(Daddy days are not cheap with girls)
Straight into a large landscape starting today.
I’ve a lot of jobs lined up and quotes to send out already, which I’ll get onto asap.
I work all year so any queries, get them in and let’s see if I can help .

That’s me singing off for a week til August 2nd . Little break with the family.
Rest my shoulders before knocking out a load more landscape work.
Just a few invoices and quotes to send out tomorrow .

Another one done I’ve quite enjoyed.
Fencing across the back and down the side replaced. Upper fence quite challenging, rubble in ground and tricky access to not mash the planting.
Removed the rotten decking and soaking sub base under it. All the grass and rock hard ground out too.
New sandstone patios installed , also solving pooling and drainage issues the client had.
Large “stepping stone” type path concreted in place and then the area filled with fresh topsoil for planting up by the client as a project.
Grouted and gravel edge to complete the job .
Happy days, just in time for a week away to the Lakes

Last few days project.
New patio in Grey Indian Sandstone with sleeper raised frame bringing it nicely from the lawn height to upper tier.
Then a clever little adjoining length path that ties it from the perfect straight edge of the new patio to the slightly uneven existing beige slabs. These are being left in as a large summer house will cover them , saving the client a couple of thousand pounds and also when in place, will look like it is all in the new paving as it will half cover that path. Nice !

One day job but technically one of my best .
Client was left with this unfinished by previous workman.
I have used Indian sandstone and mostly the smaller sizes to enable me to adapt to the curve, fall and height differences in a small area.
Trying to make straight lines fit curves isn’t easy but I’m very proud of this little job.
Bigger sizes used on the edge to spread weight and eliminate any chance of breaking away and lifting .
