📦 New packaging is on the way.

Over the last few weeks we’ve been working through prototypes for our new True North Bespoke packaging, and the final versions have now been signed off.

The bulk order is now in production, which means over the next few weeks customers will gradually start receiving their orders in our new branded boxes.

It’s another small step forward for the business, but an important one for us.

We spend a huge amount of time making sure the pieces leaving the workshop are something we’re proud to put our name to, and we want the experience around them to reflect that too — from placing your order, through to opening the box when it arrives.

A huge thank you to Emma and the team at for helping us bring this together. From the initial prototypes through to getting the final packaging signed off, they’ve made the whole process incredibly straightforward and helped us get exactly what we were looking for.

The new packaging keeps things simple, recognisable and very much True North Bespoke, while giving everything leaving the workshop a much more finished feel.

Another investment back into the business, another improvement to the customer experience, and another step towards where we want True North Bespoke to be.

A new product to our new Kitchen & Dining range — solid oak coasters.

We’ve been adding a few smaller pieces alongside adding more of our bespoke work to the website recently, and these are among the first additions.

Made from solid oak in our North East workshop, they have a simple square profile, softly eased edges and a substantial feel, with the natural grain and character of the timber left to do most of the talking.

They’re available in sets of 2, 4, 6 or 8, so they work just as well for a desk or coffee table as they do around a full dining table.

We’ve also made a few changes across the website recently to make the different ranges easier to browse, including bringing all of our chopping boards together in one place so they’re much easier to compare.

There’s more coming to Kitchen & Dining soon, but the coasters are live now and available to order.

We’ve been a little quiet on here for the last few weeks — but there’s been plenty happening behind the scenes. 🪵

For the last month or so, alongside keeping the workshop moving, we’ve been working on something we’ve wanted to properly showcase for a while.

Our new Bespoke Projects page is now live.

Chopping boards have become a big part of True North Bespoke, but they’ve never been the whole story.

Over the years we’ve made everything from tables, dining sets, cabinets and desks to smaller bespoke pieces and everything in between.

Some projects start with a detailed plan, others with a photograph, a rough sketch or simply an idea. Each one is made to order around the individual project, space and requirements.

Our new Bespoke Projects page brings a selection of that work together, giving you a closer look at what comes out of our Newcastle workshop beyond our usual online ranges.

A new style has just gone live across our oak chopping board range. 🪵

This is the Classic Oak Chopping Board, designed with clean straight sides and a tiny soft roundover for a simple, timeless finish.

It keeps the same solid oak build quality, reassuring weight and practical feel as the rest of the range — just with a cleaner edge profile for kitchens where a more traditional straight-sided look feels right.

Shown here in our Home Chef range.

Substantial enough to stay grounded during everyday preparation, without stepping into the full weight and scale of the Signature range.

The Classic style is now available across the full chopping board collection, with each piece handmade to order in our Newcastle workshop.

A new addition to our Signature range has just gone live on the website!

This is our new **Chunky Oak Serving Board**, designed as a more substantial centrepiece to help complete your kitchen.

It has the kind of weight, scale and presence that makes it feel like more than a standard serving board. Something designed to stay out, be used often, and look right at home on the worktop or in the middle of the table.

One of our larger bespoke projects!

This huge modern slatted radiator cover was built for a local client and remains one of the largest radiator covers we've made to date. In fact, it only just fit inside the workshop during construction!

The design combined a clean, contemporary appearance with practical airflow through the slatted front, while the oversized top provided plenty of additional usable surface space.

Our Bespoke Builds section is coming soon to the website, where we'll be showcasing more of our projects, past and present.

A NEW LOOK FOR TRUE NORTH BESPOKE
Same workshop. Clearer direction.

Over the last several months, True North Bespoke has been quietly changing.

Not just visually — but in what we make, how we work, and the kind of pieces we want to be known for.

When the workshop first started, we took on a bit of everything. Bespoke jobs, one-off requests, event pieces, furniture, repairs, small builds — anything that helped us grow, learn, and keep moving forward.

But over time, things have naturally become clearer.

We’ve found the work we enjoy most.
The materials we trust.
The standard we want to keep.
And the kind of pieces we’re proud to put our name to.

So True North Bespoke is shifting into a more focused chapter.

Built properly, from carefully selected materials, with a focus on quality, longevity, and practical use.

We’ll still be taking on larger bespoke projects, furniture builds and one-off commissions — but you may see fewer of them. The focus is now on the work that best fits the workshop, our materials, and the standard we want to maintain.

Alongside that, we’ve rebuilt the customer journey from the ground up — including a full website redesign, clearer product ranges, better information, and a more considered way to show what happens behind the workshop doors.

And this is where it starts.

Father’s Day is starting to come around quickly now, and with every board handmade to order, we’re already starting to work towards our final cut-off for guaranteed Father’s Day delivery.

This one is from our Everyday range, which has quietly become one of the most practical pieces we make.

Still substantial enough to feel solid on the worktop, while keeping that simpler everyday feel without stepping into the heavier Home Chef range.

No styled kitchen shots for this one — just a freshly finished Everyday board sitting on the bench before heading out.

These larger Everyday boards have quietly become one of the most practical pieces we make.

Still substantial enough to feel solid on the worktop, but without stepping into the heavier Home Chef or Signature territory.

Big enough for serious prep, serving, or BBQ season, while still keeping that simpler everyday feel.

After sharing more from the Home Chef and Everyday ranges recently, it felt right to finish with something at the other end of the scale.

This one sits at the top of the range — both in size and presence.

Thicker, heavier, and built to stand out. Not just visually, but in how it feels to use day to day.
