DOUBLE STOREY EXTENSION UPDATE - FOREST HALL.

Two roofs cut back and stripped off today ✅
Membrane put on to stop any penetrating water getting into ceilings ✅
Taped down and latted to make it watertight ✅
Pebble dash took off above the roof ✅
Electrics all taped up individually and bagged up and then re-taped again to make them watertight to stop any tripping ✅

All ready to start building upper floor now.

What a mess it is underneath the roof.

Plumbing pipes all over like a roller coaster up and down.

Plasterboards just hidding in roof smashed in pieces.

Chimney stack not structured or supported correctly it has a big hole in it so could capsize.

Other internal walls coming up through the ceiling and supporting on roof joists.

Stack soil/ drainage pipe hidding in the ceiling and just left so odours are travelling around in the ceiling instead of the stack pipe/flue coming through the roof to prevent any smells/odours.

Everythings just been hidding inside of the sloped roof and put in anyway possible.

Not what we wanted to come across as extra work for us to put in but dont know what your going to come across until its been exposed as this should of just been a nice easy take off but nothing my lads cant sort out and get over. A-Team, Proper Grafters 👌💯

We will find the upper floor heights tomorrow, to see where the new floor joists are sitting and cut out internal door way if possible (depensing on measurements) and then get padstone and steels inserted 😀

Trench all dug out ✅
Foundation all levelled out ✅
concrete foundation poured ✅
Blockwork wall all built up ✅

All ready to be timber framed out and new latted fence put on top of the wall and driveway to be installed.

DOUBLE STOREY KITCHEN AND REAR EXTENSION UPDATE

The lads have been busy on this one whilst i was on holiday last week.

Aitting eoom door boarded uo for dust 👍
Walls stripped back to brick ✅
Internal foundation put in for internal wall ✅
New internal wall built in kitchen ✅
Starter bars on each side of new wall ✅
Stell fixing in on parrty wall and new cavity internal wall✅
Insulation all put on ✅
Windows stripped out for kitchen to be opened up ✅
Acro props put in ✅
Knock through all done ✅
All electric wires in the kitchen took out, cut back and taped up ✅

SELF BUILD UPDATE - porchway all finished off. Ready to stsrt stripping scaffold abd starting getting the windows/ doors and a big glass front in 👌💯 NICE, NEAT, TIDY BUILD.

Blockwork all up ✅
Cavity needs insulated and closed off ✅
Ready for cladding sides panels to be put on ✅ apex roof to go on front glass porchway to blend in with new roof above ✅

Flooring all taking up and now back to a basic concrete pad ✅

SELF BUILD UPDATE

scaffold dropped and altered for the front glass porch way to be built - (top to bottom) ✅
Site all tidied up and rubbish removed ✅
Fascias and dry verge all put on ✅
Stud walls started to go in ✅

Starting to great shape now camt wait to see it all finished now 🧱🧱🧱

FOREST HALL UPDATE.

Internal plastic damp membrane put in ✅
Plastic membrane all lapped up and taped up ✅
Dolomite put in and levelled out ✅
Nice clean manhole ready to be conncted once the shells all up and water tight ✅

Waiting for steels to arrive now so we can start building the upper extension 😀

FOREST HALL UPDATE - Double Storey Extension

Lintels on ✅
Damps set above openings ✅
Weepholes put in ✅
Two course of blockwork over the lintels ✅

Lower Kitchen/Dining Room extension nearly complete now just got the back part to do over the lintels tomorrow 🧱🧱🧱

Flying we are all up from foundations to wall plate in 5 days, missed a few day due to weather permitted 👌💯

Foundations all in and upto DPC height, double skin blockwork all, insulation all in, damps all in (internal and external) and weepholes all put in

SELF BUILD UPDATE 👌💯

Peaks all up to roof height now ✅

Just have all the triangle cuts up the side need to go in now then a dry verge put on then thats the house all water tight.

Then after that all windows and doors and full front glass planel need to go in then house it pratically there apart from the internal works that need put in too.

All upper flooring put in today. Bonded, glued and screwed down ✅

Left out the hole for staircase to be put just need joist cut out to create the opening

House has all been passed externally from building control ✅

Now we can concentrate on getting the DOUBLE EXTENSION completed at FOREST HALL from now on 😀
