From an old, well-rotted fence that was no longer providing the safety it should, to a brand-new, strong and secure fence leading up to the back door! 🔨✨
It was definitely time for an upgrade, and we’re really pleased with how this one turned out.

We’ve already had neighbours telling us it’s the best-looking one on the street — and even asking us to book them in to have theirs done! 😍

Another tired old fence replaced with a safe, secure and smart-looking finish. 💪🌳

What a transformation this has been over the past couple of weeks! 🙌

After waiting for the materials to arrive, we’ve gone from rebuilding the brick wall and raising it by 215mm, to creating the decking area in the middle, having a bespoke manhole cover made, and then finishing everything off with the composite oak cladding.

There’s still more to come, with new fencing around the garden and fresh paving to finish everything off.

It’s already looking completely different, and I can’t wait to see the finished result! 🤩🌿🪵

Friday Decking 🔨🌿
A 5m x 3.6m decking pad, creating a lovely space to sit back, relax and enjoy some well-deserved downtime after those busy days at work.

Lovely customers, and we’ll be returning at a later date to finish things off with a decking fence and a little gate on the side for the dog 🐶

It’s been a couple of busy days getting this lean-to built. 💪

Built using C24 graded studwork with joist hangers, finished with 18mm plywood on the roof, then topped off with powder-coated metal roofing sheets.

We’ve also fitted the fascia boards and guttering, and clad the structure with 4.8m shiplap timber to really dress it off and give it a clean finish.

For now, there’s a temporary timber door in place while we wait for the bespoke composite door to be manufactured and fitted.

Really happy with how it’s coming together — a solid, practical build that’s made a big difference to the space. 🛠️🔨

Our client had a big vision for transforming their outdoor space, and we're delighted they chose GG Decking & Fencing to bring it to life.

We've completed the new brick walls, installed the beautiful new decking area, and finished the front fencing.

The project is really taking shape!
Now we're just waiting for the composite cladding to arrive so we can add the finishing touch and complete this fantastic transformation.

Just completed this 20m² decking area for one of our returning customers, and we're really pleased with how it turned out! 👌

We installed a strong, sturdy matching decking fence, added a couple of steps at the front, and created a seamless entrance leading through the garden arch. The finished space is now much more practical, private, and perfect for relaxing.

The customer was so happy with the result that they've already asked us back to quote for matching fencing around the rest of the garden to complete the look and add even more privacy.

Tuesday's decking transformation! 🔨🌞

We completely removed the old, tired, rotten decking and replaced it with a brand-new, fully treated deck that's ready to be enjoyed all summer long with some comfortable outdoor furniture.

The project isn't finished just yet—we'll be returning in the coming weeks to install a new fence around the area and a beautiful pergola over the top to complete the space.

All about helping the local community, these volunteers do amazing things for the elderly – from providing hot meals and organising bingo sessions to simply offering a place where people can meet up and have a chat.

During the summer, they also put on fun days and activities for children and families. So for anyone who thinks it's acceptable to damage the place by setting fire to tables or vandalising it, please remember that you're only hurting the elderly and the wider community.

Facilities like this are there to help people, especially those who may not have many opportunities to get out and socialise. Let's show some respect and support for the people who work hard to make these activities possible.

Last week before I enjoy some family time in the sun! ☀️

I've purposely not booked any jobs in this week to give my body a chance to recover, so it's the perfect opportunity to catch up on quotes and pricing jobs.
