Well, I have to say.
Plastering is what we do and the kitchen and utility were simples.
Patching the artex in the bedroom kitchen and entrance was something I've not done for A LONG TIME.

Looks good TBF. 💪

Little bedroom alteration to start the week off. Customer removed the old built in wardrobe ONPY to find the wall was not plasterboard on their side. Just 25mm celotex. No wonder they could hear a pin drop in the adjoining room .
So, a trip to the builders and a new stud wall was soon put in place with 75mm sound deadening insulation and Sound bloc plasterboards. Put the 2plasterfix boxes in cause the electrician didn't leave any !
Then, removed the coving, patched where needed and skimmed the ceiling and wall complete.
Customer was over the moon.

Apparently we only needed a couple of bags bonding coat and then skim.
🤦🤦🤦 According to the project 'manager'! It will be just a skim over.🤔😲

Let me tell you.
NO WAY WAS WE DOING THAT!!!

That was just a day dream, on his behalf.
We don't do make so. It's our name at the end of the day.
Look this plastering has come loose and WE did it.
No way hosey.

So after knocking off all the loose plaster on quite a few rooms.
Then dry lining Many many walls, overboarding some ceilings.
That were meant to of been done already🤔
We finally started to skim something.
Even though this job took MUCH longer than it was supposed too,
WE DID much more than 1st asked, for the better overall job.
Now the customer has a brand new, newly plastered house ready to decorate, that's has NO loose plaster and straight walls
Left us an amazing review on Google.

So, after having the great, Vernon Kaye shouted us out earlier this week. (No pictures as we haven't finished the job yet)
But this ceiling in Stockport today was a bit of a stretch...💪💪💪
Just me and Charl and a 50square metre ceiling in 34 degrees.
AND yes Charlie Downess can mix &Plaster at the same time.
Although he does like moaning. 😂

Only 6bags of finish 1st coat and 3 bags 2nd coat.

And to top it ALL off, the shop fitters cut out the down lights.
I mean, FFS, we were covered in plaster.
NEVER EVER. a good idea.
For future ref, take a measurement and do it after.
But hey, still home for 3pm.
Love my lads for doing what they do for the £££. 🤎🤎

Before and after pictures of a bedroom we have just completed..
No idea who thought it was a good idea to fit brand new carpet THEN knock off the plaster on all the walls but we still managed to do the job WITHOUT damage to the carpet.
Overboarded the ceiling, dry lined the walls ALL skimmed.
Get in touch if you have a room or rooms that need sorting out.
Just don't have a new carpet before you decide to do it. 😂
