🌳 Team Leaders / Lead Climbers
💰 £35,000–£40,000

🌳 Second Climbers
💰 £30,000–£34,000

🌳 Grounds People/Team Lead
💰 £27,500–£30,000

We’re an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor with a busy mix of domestic, commercial, Local Authority and estate work – and we’re looking for experienced arb ops who want to be part of a good team doing high-quality work.

What a fantastic day at Thoresby Park for the wonderful This is Farming show 🌳🚜

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Springwood Tree Services stand today. It was brilliant to catch up with familiar faces, meet so many new people and talk all things arb.

Delivering two live demonstrations (a professional work climb and a realistic live aerial rescue scenario), was a real treat for the team. It was a great opportunity to show the skill, training and teamwork that go into working safely in our industry every single day, and the crowds certainly didn’t disappoint!

We were also chuffed to welcome Clarksons Farm’s very own Harriet Cowan to the stand - she took to tree climbing like an absolute natural!🌳

We’re incredibly proud of the whole Springwood team. They gave up their Saturday, represented the business brilliantly and demonstrated exactly what we’re about: professionalism, safety and high standards.

A massive thank you to the organisers, Bede Events & The Thoresby Park team, for putting on such a fantastic event, and to everyone who came over to support us. We loved every minute and are already looking forward to next year!

What a team… what a challenge… what a day..!

Tough Mudder UK - we smashed it!

With our match funding we have raised over £1000 for the incredible North Clifton Primary which will make a huge difference to this little school!

💪🏻 One last push before the big day tomorrow…

North Clifton Primary School have just recieved the most incredible OFSTED report (FOUR strongs and two expecteds…) and as a tiny school, that is not an easy thing to do!

We’d love to raise as much as possible by tackling Tough Mudder UK tomorrow morning so we can treat the staff and pupils to something really lovely to celebrate the end of the best term ever…

So, if you like the thought of us and our gang swimming in mud (literally), getting shocked by up to 10,000 volts, carrying each other (tree surgeons are HEAVY), being submerged in freezing cold water and having to run in the heat of tomorrow whilst throwing ourselves over ludicrously high obstacles, then we would REALLY appreciate it if you showed your joy by popping whatever you can over via our donations page!

👀 We are on the lookout for a Freelance Content Creator 🎥

Springwood Tree Services is looking for a freelance content creator to spend one or two half-days each month on-site capturing professional photos and short-form video for social media and wider digital marketing.

This isn’t about cheesy trends or talking-to-camera content. We want authentic footage that showcases skilled arboriculture, commercial work, our team, safety and professionalism.

You’ll be comfortable working around live arboricultural sites, have a great eye for detail, and be confident capturing content that feels real rather than staged.

We’d love you to deliver organised, edited content ready for us to post across LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.

Our work sites are generally across the East Midlands
and there is no requirement for copywriting or strategy with this role. Drone capability is desirable though, at height is where a lot of our work happens 🙃

Springwood Tree Services are doing a Tough Mudder UK shaped thing 😬👀

North Clifton Primary School has done the most incredible job for Springwood’s littlest boss (and her big brother), and we’d love to help them continue to do the same incredible job for local children for many years to come so the team are planning on chucking ourselves off things, crawling under things, swimming through things and getting generally muddy af for this very special cause.…

With government funding already squeezing schools, and NCPS being so small, finances are always in need of a boost and that’s what we hope to do with this challenge. Springwood will match whatever the team raise, and we’d love it to be a good lump!
