Today’s job was the dismantling and removal of this impressive 40-year-old spruce, better known as a Christmas tree. 🎄🌳

With temperatures hitting 30°C, it was a tough day for the team, but the lads got stuck in and completed the job safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to the customer’s property.

We were hoping there might be a few presents left under the tree after all these years, but no such luck! Thankfully, the customer showed their appreciation with a generous tip for a few well-earned pints. 🍻

A productive day for the Encore team tackling this mature ash tree.🍃

Following a thorough assessment, we found extensive internal decay within the trunk, compromising the tree’s structural integrity. To eliminate the immediate risk, we carefully dismantled the upper section of the tree, removing the majority of the weight from the canopy.

We’ll be returning in the near future to further reduce the remaining stem and complete the project safely.
