⚡️ ⚠️ High / Over Voltage Update 🚨 ⚡️

UK Power Networks have reached out this morning to update us, they have informed us that engineers have been assigned to look at the network in South East Kent as a whole, due to the number of calls regarding the over voltage.

They have asked that anyone that has not reported the issue to them does so, by calling “105”. This will help them identify the scale of the issue and the locations affected.

They have promised to resolve the matter and update us as quickly as possible. We will post any further updates as and when. However we are still seeing 260v at multiple locations across our customers sites

⚡️ 🚨 High Voltage Warning ⚠️ ⚡️

UK Power Networks

Over the past few weeks we have had multiple customers reporting issues with their Solar PV inverters and EV Chargers shutting down due to high voltage coming into their properties.

The equipment shuts down typically at 260v AC single phase, due to protecting itself from the high voltage. The statuary voltage in the UK should be 230v with a statuary maximum of 253v.

We are urging all customers of ours, or other homeowners experiencing the same issue to report this directly to UKPN on “105”. There is clearly an issue in this area, and yet UKPN are not moving very quickly to resolve the issue or get in contact with us to explain their network issue.

We recently completed a large CCTV & WiFi/Network upgrade Lydd Kart Circuit. This was to provide a guest network and an improved security solution. As part of the Ubiquiti solution, we also were able to provide a simple solution for media & advertising on their displays throughout the building.

Paired up with EAV Net, Lydd Kart Circuit now has there own secure private Network & WiFi systems as well as a free to use public WiFi hotspot for tournaments and general customer use. The use of the Ubiquiti media players also provided an easy to use content solution for the display screens around the building, providing general advertising and live track times.

The old analogue based camera system has completely been removed and has been replaced with a Ubiquiti AI IP based camera system that not only improved the quality and introduces AI technology, but also allows future expansion for when their business expands and grows!
