🔨 **WE’RE HIRING — WORKING INSTALLATION MANAGER / EXPERIENCED JOINER**
**Kinder Kitchens, New Mills**
**£38,000–£43,000 a year — flexible for the right person**
Are you an experienced joiner or kitchen fitter who enjoys organising jobs, supporting other trades and looking after customers?
We’re looking for an energetic, practical person to join our small team and take responsibility for keeping our kitchen installations running smoothly.
**We already have skilled kitchen fitters. Your main role will be to prepare for them, organise and support the installation, and see the finishing work through to completion. Fitting complete kitchens won’t be your main responsibility.**
You’ll be the person who makes sure the room is ready, the right trades arrive at the right time, and the customer knows what’s happening. It’s a hands-on role with plenty of practical work alongside the organising.
**The role includes:**
• Attending final site visits and helping prepare fitting notes and schedules.
• Removing old kitchens and carrying out agreed room preparation.
• Coordinating plumbers, electricians, plasterers and other trades.
• Organising and helping with deliveries alongside our existing assistant.
• Supporting our kitchen fitters and dealing with practical issues.
• Completing finishing work, including skirting, architraves and snagging.
• Handling repairs and aftercare.
• Keeping customers informed and their homes protected, clean and tidy.
• Occasional bespoke joinery, including oak shelves and larder interiors.
**We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised and proactive, with strong practical skills and a friendly, patient manner.** You should enjoy taking responsibility and helping a team do a good job.
**What we offer:**

✓ Monday–Friday, 8am–4.30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
✓ 22 days’ holiday plus 8 bank holidays.

✓ Some flexibility by agreement.
✓ Support from the owner, office team and our existing assistant.
Based from **New Mills**, ideally within around a **30-minute commute**. A suitable driving licence is required, and you’ll need to arrange your own travel to work.
