MILLBOARD COMPOSITE DECKING NEAR PETERSFIELD

Decking & handrails all completed now, This was a wonderful project to complete, millboard decking & composite framework on most of the project, all screwed together with hidden head screws, the new steps were constructed using 225mm x 50mm pressure treated timber with composite decking used for each step, handrails & balustrades installed using the existing posts as these are oak and perfectly solid, also all screwed together, not 1 single nail ever used in my work.

FENCING IN ALRESFORD

New gate & trellis installed in alresford today, a new framework of 150mm x 50mm was made for this project for additional strength as the gate needed to be cut down from a standard 900mm to 815mm as the entrance was so tight, using traditional 100mm square posts would have made the entrance even tighter to get through, new galvanised gate furniture used for this project.

Cherry tree & bamboo including roots all dug out, over 10 wheel barrows of bamboo roots dug out. New raised beds built using new oak sleepers all screwed together and concreted into place, filled with sieved top soil & turfing done in rear garden, just 4 slabs laid in the front garden for wheelie bin store.

PORCELAIN PAVING IN ALRESFORD

Completed today a small extension of porcelain paving and brickwork to match the existing walling, area dug out & 100mm of scalpings compacted to form a solid base, porcelain paving cut to fit the area, strong slurry mix applied to the back of the paving and then laid on a solid bed of wet mix mortar, pointed in with flo point.
