This week’s project – just outside Nairn 🏡

This charming cottage was well overdue for an upgrade. Mice were getting in beneath the old doors, the existing windows were suffering from heavy condensation, and the original single-glazed skylight was allowing valuable heat to escape.

We transformed the property by installing:

✅ A-rated uPVC windows and doors for improved energy efficiency
✅ Slim sightline frames to maximise natural light
✅ An anthracite grey front door with chrome hardware and a low aluminium threshold, giving the cottage a clean, modern finish
✅White uPVC rear door with toughened glass unit over shiplap panel.

✅ A modern double-glazed Velux roof window replacing the original cast iron single-glazed skylight

Here’s a project we’ve been helping DWJ Joinery with over the past few weeks.

Working alongside Derek, we’ve assisted with the construction and er****on of the timber frame kit and roof, before completing all of the external works, including the Cedral cladding, roofing, Velux windows, fascias and guttering.

We also removed the existing French doors and formed the new opening into the extension, helping prepare the property for the new living space.

It’s always good to work alongside other local trades to help keep projects moving and deliver a high-quality finish. We’re looking forward to seeing this one completed!

Last weeks work, full roofline replacement in anthracite grey pvc with matching grey deep flow gutters, downpipes and dry verge. Amazing weather and customers thank you again.

40 second upvc window replacement 😜 every new frame is made to measure, fitting each opening with just enough room to fit without damaging the render externally or plaster internally. This combined with careful rip out means our finish is much cleaner and mess is kept to a minimum. Window styles, colours and finishings are all specced per customer requirements.

Catching up on some updates from last week.
Gable end cladding and framing replaced on a farm outbuilding. Farmer supplied old frames to make good. New barge flashings and roof sheets repaired making this outbuilding wind and watertight once again.
