A safe entrance makes a daily difference.

We recently rebuilt a worn front step and path using textured paving and matching brickwork, giving the customer a firm, safe route in and out of their home.

Direct Gardens has been creating and improving gardens since 1989. We work across Edinburgh and the Lothians, from individual repairs to complete garden projects.

Does your step or path need attention? Send us a message.

A great patio starts long before you lay the paving.

Proper excavation, a well-compacted sub-base and effective drainage are essential if a new patio or pathway is to remain stable and attractive for years to come.

At Direct Gardens, we never regard groundwork as the part nobody sees. It is the foundation of every successful landscaping project and just as important as the finished surface.

Established in 1989, we provide professional garden design and landscaping throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Not every garden improvement requires a complete redesign.

The existing steps here had a narrow metal handrail and offered limited support. We installed a substantial timber handrail and balustrade, creating a safer and more comfortable route between the two garden levels — and the four-legged customer appears to approve! 🐾

With over 35 years’ landscaping experience throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians, we’re always happy to offer friendly advice.
