🌳 SUMMER BRANCH DROP – EMERGENCY TREE CALL-OUT 🌳

We were recently called out to Cramlington following the sudden failure of a large limb from an Ash tree.

During prolonged periods of hot, dry weather, trees can experience a phenomenon often referred to as “Summer Branch Drop”. As moisture levels change, the fibres within the tree can contract, potentially causing large limbs to fail suddenly and without obvious warning signs.

Thankfully, on this occasion no one was injured and no property was damaged.

Our swift emergency call-out service attended, safely removed the fallen limb and cleared the area — leaving no trace of the incident behind.

🌲 Large Lawson Cypress Removal – Safe & Efficient Work Completed 🌲
Another successful job completed by EGS Tree Surgery in Northumberland 💪
We recently removed a large Lawson Cypress situated on a boundary line. Due to a low included union, the tree was at risk of splitting — so it was important to act early and carry out a safe, controlled removal before any failure occurred ⚠️
Using our tracked Timberwolf chipper, we were able to efficiently process all arisings on site. The woodchip was then reused on the borders to help suppress w**d growth, leaving the area both practical and tidy 🌿
We also made full use of our mounted winch system to assist with the felling process, ensuring everything was completed safely and with precision.
