As the thaw sets in, some properties may have a considerable amount of powder snow in the loft space. As this melts, most will be absorbed by insulation and there will be no evidence of this having ever occured but, in some instances, electrical circuits installed in the loft space may be affected by the moisture and can lead to tripping of RCD devices in the main distribution board. This is nothing to panic about and the safety device is doing it's job; if the problem persists it is a relatively straight forward task for an electrician to locate, dry and rectify the affected junction.

This is what Mr Gtech does in his spare time; a full ground up restoration of a classic competition trials motorcycle from the early 70's just about to be loaded up for return to it's eagerly waiting owner. Rarely do I get a chance to work on these "oldies" and it was an absolute pleasure to have this opportunity. The end result, most pleasing to the eye. :)
