Wall Lag Wales Ltd Wall-Lag Group commenced business in 1974 supplying and installing cavity wall insulation, loft insulation and draft proofing.

In 1976 a division of the company was created to manufacture windows & doors (Snowdonia Windows & Doors Ltd). A further company was commenced in 1985 (Snowdonia Windows & Doors (Gwynedd) Ltd) to service the Gwynedd & Anglesey area, mainly through the medium of the Welsh language. Also in 1985 we commenced our own service department (Autocheck Mold) to service & MOT 70 plus vehicles, plant and equi

pment. Whilst retail has always been part of our portfolio, in 1976 we commenced commercial operations, which continue to this day, we have had open book partnering relationships with a number of housing associations, working to cost model pricing for approx. 15 years continuously. In 2009 we commenced operations in Renewable technologies, which see us employ a number of plumbers & electricians; one of our major customers is British Gas.

👏 Apprenticeship Applications are officially Closed 👏

After careful consideration, we have selected our 7 new apprentices! 🥳

The amount of applicants we have had this year has been triple the usual amount, which we believe is down to our increasing Social Value attendance at numerous events across North Wales. Being a part of the process of meeting, educating and training young people in school and college settings, to then be able to offer them a real life interview has been more rewarding than words can say!

Although, dealing with the rejection process for such amazing candidates has been difficult, each candidate has been polite, understanding and they really do deserve a chance in the working world!

Congratulations to all of our successful applicants, and thank you to all who applied for a position with us!

And finally, thank you to all of our staff who supported with the interview process, final decisions and rejection process!

We are looking forward to welcoming our new team members in September! 🙏
