The van has had a fresh set of signs 😮‍💨 and, fair to say, they were a well-needed upgrade! 😎

Massive thanks to signsdiy for the signs and making the process super easy.

Another little upgrade for the business! And it’s looking smart 🔥😁

🎉 What a weekend! 🎉

What an absolutely brilliant weekend at the Mold Food & Drink Festival! 🍔🍻🎶

We had such a fantastic time being part of the 20th anniversary celebrations. From the food and drink to the live music, the atmosphere was absolutely brilliant — and thankfully the weather played ball! 🙌

It was also great to see our Ollie Edward Services banner up on the main stage throughout the weekend and to see everyone enjoying themselves in front of it. 😍

And to top it all off, we even got the chance to meet Tony Carroll! What a legend and a great bloke. 🎤👏

A massive thank you and congratulations to everyone involved in making the festival happen, especially all the volunteers who give up their time behind the scenes. Events like this simply wouldn’t happen without you. 💙

Here’s to another fantastic year for the Mold Food & Drink Festival! 🍻🎶

Another conservatory roof clean completed and this one is from the other week.

These polycarbonate conservatory roofs can become heavily weathered over time, with dirt, staining and general discolouration building up on the surface.

We always like to be honest with our customers — unfortunately, once this type of roof has weathered and discoloured, cleaning alone will not bring it back to looking brand new.

However, that doesn’t mean a professional clean isn’t worthwhile! As you can see from this job, we can still achieve a really good improvement, removing the built-up grime and brightening the overall appearance of the conservatory. 👌

A much cleaner and fresher finish all round!

🚨 Thinking about having moss removed from your roof? Read this first.

A roof isn’t a driveway, and the quickest or cheapest cleaning method isn’t always the best one.

I’ve put together a new blog explaining roof scraping, biocide treatments, soft washing, why I don’t pressure wash tiled roofs, and what you should ask before choosing someone to work on your roof.

It also includes a real example of a roof I came across while installing new guttering, where previous high-pressure cleaning appeared to have left the tiles looking worse — nothing to do with Ollie Edward Services, I must add!
