This was a traditional system compete this afternoon where we changed over to new modern top end Combi boiler with Extreamly smart controls.

This job consisted of removing gravity feed tanks and converting all water to mains water. Removing hot water cylinder and linking pipes in order to keep the correct flow of water in the heating. Fit a new Ideal Vogue Max 40kw boiler with a 12 year warrantee along with the Smart Control Ideal Halo. This Smart Control saves you money when you don’t even know about it. It does this by using weather compensation and load compensation to in simple terms use less gas.

A tricky job but fantastic results for our customer.

They had loads of radiators not working and very poor hot and cold water flow/pressure. By converting this system, fully flushing out the radiators with chemicals our customer now have mains hot water pressure everywhere in the house with every radiator working and balanced correctly.

Clean Heat Market Mechanism (“CHMM”)

The Government has confirmed that the CHMM will commence on 1 January 2024.

The CHMM imposes fines on boiler manufacturers who do not meet their targets for the sale of air source heat pumps. More information can be found on the Government website – www.gov.uk/government/consultations/clean-heat-market-mechanism.

To cover these fines, as has been widely reported in the press, a number of boiler manufacturers recently confirmed that they will implement a price increase, or CHMM levy, expected to range from £95 to £120 per boiler, from 1 January 2024. Whilst the situation continues to evolve at pace, we wanted to give you as much notice as possible that our intention is to be as transparent as we can and charge this as a separate line item equal to the manufacturer’s price increase, or CHMM levy, we receive.,

A before and after. Customers boiler was Immediately Dangerous leaking produce of combustion into the bedroom. We gave the customer the option to do a repair but they opted for our Ideal Logic + with a 10 year full parts and labour warranty. We also moved it from the bedroom to the garage. Pipe work was all lagged after this picture. Another happy customer and we look forward to servicing it every year. Our customers don’t miss the service to maintain their warranty as we notify when they are due.
