The brief
For this selection of bespoke internal doors, our client wanted unforgettable wow-factor. Simple as that.

Considerations
It was clear that ordinary-looking doors just wouldn’t cut the mustard in this stunning home, no matter how well they performed. Instead, a careful choice of finish would be the perfect way to create something truly breathtaking.

Our bespoke solution
We crafted single and double-leaf Gio doors, each one built to the exacting standards we’ve made our name on. The doors’ design is appropriately sleek, clean and contemporary, while the double door has an unusual overhead transom for extra impact. All of the doors were painstakingly finished using a stunning rosewood veneer, unusually rare and undeniably beautiful.

Rich and warming red hues work perfectly with the veneer’s striking organic grain pattern, each door’s pattern being subtly different from the last. The effect is really compelling and lends every door a sense of individuality, like a human fingerprint. The overall tones complement the slightly darker flooring, while simple handles help emphasise the veneer’s stylish complexity. Overall, a truly special aesthetic; once seen, never forgotten.

When you’re specifying an entrance, it’s about much more than choosing a door.

Architects often ask us about proportion, detailing, materials, performance and — perhaps most importantly — how the door will sit within the wider architecture.

Here are a few questions we’re asked regularly:

“How do we get the proportions right?”
We look at the whole elevation — scale, sightlines, surrounding openings and architectural language — to make sure the entrance feels intentional.

“Can it really be bespoke?”
Yes. Bespoke isn’t just about size or colour. It’s about resolving the details, from glazing and finishes to hardware, frames and thresholds.

Two doors. Two very different approaches to the frame. 🚪✨
The door frame might seem like a small detail, but it can completely change the way a doorway feels within a space.

In the first image, the frame is designed as an extension of the door itself. The architrave is minimal, with the timber wrapping around the opening to create a clean, seamless and highly integrated architectural detail. The result is understated and contemporary, allowing the doorway to feel like one continuous element.

In the second image, the frame is made up of distinct, layered elements, creating a more pronounced transition between the door and the surrounding wall. The additional profiles give the opening greater definition and make the frame itself a more noticeable architectural feature.

✨ Minimal, integrated frame: clean, seamless and contemporary.
✨ Layered frame: defined, detailed and more traditional in its approach.

Both are beautiful solutions—the choice comes down to how much presence and definition you want the doorway to have.

It’s amazing how the detail around a door can change the entire feel of a space.

Brief
Our client wanted entrance and garage doors offering beautiful aesthetics that would give his stunning new-build property a satisfying sense of cohesion.

Considerations
Our dedication to design was crucial, since the oversized entrance door and beautiful glass panelling made this project unlike anything we’d completed before.

Our bespoke solution
We created a beautiful two-sided door combining our Pichola V design on the outside with a Trem H for the interior. Black-stained oak veneer produced appealing natural textures yet worked in harmony with the property’s effortlessly cool and contemporary overall aesthetic.

The extensive window panelling illuminates the interior and adds welcome contrast to an otherwise solid-looking façade, although using multiple panels meant that careful alignment was paramount. Brass handles by Williams Ironmongery were actually sourced by the client himself, a level of personalisation absolutely in tune with the Deuren pursuit of perfection.

Meanwhile, the garage door we designed, made and fitted is a state-of-the-art overhead sectional model, using a Pichola V aesthetic to match the stunning entranceway.

Ultimately, we’ve given this gorgeous minimalist property maximum kerb appeal.

Georgian architecture has shaped the character of British towns and cities for more than two centuries.

Known for its symmetry, proportion and understated elegance, this style introduced a sense of balance and order to residential architecture. Facades were carefully composed and entrances were designed to create a welcoming focal point.

The front door became one of the most recognisable features, often framed by classical detailing and finished in distinctive colours.

Today, many of the same principles still guide modern design. Balance, proportion and carefully crafted details continue to shape homes that feel timeless and refined.

What many people don't realise is that achieving this look starts long before the doors are installed. These openings require a completely different approach to a standard door opening, with careful planning and precise construction from the very beginning.

That's why it's so important for us to be involved early in the project. Working alongside the architect, builder, and other trades from the outset ensures every detail is designed and built correctly, making features like shadow gap door openings possible.

The result? A beautifully minimalist finish that adds an extra "wow" factor and sets the project apart.
