WE’RE MORE THAN JUST GROUNDWORKS & REFURBISHMENT.

At D Croft & Son Limited, our commercial clients know they can rely on us for far more than our core groundworks and refurbishment services.

We regularly facilitate and coordinate a wide range of specialist works, helping our clients get projects delivered efficiently, with one trusted contractor managing the process.

A great example is this recent air conditioning installation, coordinated and delivered as part of our wider commercial works offering.

From groundworks and structural works to internal refurbishment, mechanical services, access solutions and specialist installations — we help take the hassle out of getting works delivered.

For us, it’s about understanding what our clients need, bringing the right people together and making sure the job is completed to the standards we expect.

One contractor. Multiple solutions. One less headache for our clients.

If you have commercial works coming up and need a contractor who can facilitate more than just the traditional building package, let’s talk.

We’re pleased to confirm that D Croft & Son Ltd has successfully renewed our CHAS accreditation.

For us, this isn’t simply another certificate on the wall.

It’s independent recognition of the systems, processes and standards we have in place to manage health & safety, risk and compliance across our operations.

As a growing contractor working across commercial, local authority and public-sector projects, maintaining recognised compliance standards is fundamental to the way we operate.

From our site teams and training, through to RAMS, inspections and ongoing management, health & safety remains non-negotiable.

Our continued CHAS accreditation gives clients and supply-chain partners further confidence that they are dealing with a contractor committed to maintaining robust and responsible working practices.

Standards matter. Compliance matters. Safety matters.

And at D Croft & Son Limited, we’ll continue to raise the bar.

Health & Safety – Staying Ahead of the Standard 🦺

As part of our continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health & safety, our team have recently completed Asbestos Awareness Training.

Asbestos remains a serious risk within the construction industry, particularly when working on older buildings, and ensuring our workforce understands the risks, identification and correct procedures is essential.

The training also forms an important part of our ongoing preparation for our annual Health & Safety accreditation review, demonstrating that competence, training and continual improvement remain at the heart of how we operate.

For us, compliance isn’t simply about ticking a box, it’s about making sure our people, our clients and everyone we work alongside goes home safe every day.

Training. Compliance. Competence. Safety.

That’s the standard we continue to strive for at D Croft & Son Ltd.

Many thanks to the team at Be Accredited for the continued support

⚽ Proud to Support the Next Generation | 2026/27 JPL Season

We’re delighted to announce that D Croft & Son Limited will be proudly sponsoring the match shirts for Yorkshire Elite Football Academy for the 2026/27 Junior Premier League season.

As a family-run business, we’re passionate about supporting our local community and, in particular, helping young people develop, build confidence and enjoy the opportunities that sport can provide.

Grassroots football is about so much more than what happens on the pitch. It’s about teamwork, discipline, resilience, friendships and creating memories that can last a lifetime.

It’s a real privilege to have the D Croft & Son Ltd name on the shirts and to play a small part in supporting the players, coaches and everyone behind the scenes at YEFA.

We’re looking forward to following the team throughout the 2026/27 JPL season and hopefully celebrating plenty of success along the way! 🏆

Good luck to all the players — wear the shirts with pride!

Preserving Character, Strengthening Foundations 🏫

Over the summer break, we had the privilege of undertaking structural works to the hall floor of a listed primary school in Huddersfield.

Working within a listed building always brings an added level of responsibility, and it was a real privilege for the team to play our part in maintaining and improving such an important local building.

Alongside the structural works, the existing hall floor was fully sanded and professionally finished with four coats of commercial-grade floor sealer, leaving it looking refreshed, durable and ready for many more years of use.

A great project showcasing the importance of combining specialist structural works with quality finishing, whilst respecting the character and history of the building.

A big well done to everyone involved in delivering the project over the summer break. 👏

Little Band of Brothers 🏆⚽

What a way to finish the summer! 💙

A massive congratulations to the Battyeford Sporting Club U9’s on becoming Doncaster Summer Series Champions! 🏆

This little band of brothers have been absolutely outstanding throughout the tournament, not only lifting the trophy in the final, but also finishing top of the league table after conceding just 2 goals across 10 matches against some seriously strong South Yorkshire teams.

That statistic says it all. 👏

The commitment, teamwork, attitude and determination these lads have shown has been fantastic to watch. More importantly, they’ve done it together, supporting each other, working hard for each other and enjoying their football along the way.

A huge well done to the players & coaches.

Champions 🏆
10 games.
2 goals conceded.
One little band of brothers. 💙⚽

What an achievement! 👏

Diversifying. Growing. Staying adaptable.

One of the things we’re particularly proud of at D Croft & Son Ltd is the ability to diversify our workload while continuing to deliver the same high standards across every project.

From commercial groundworks and infrastructure projects, to office refurbishments and internal fit-out works, alongside our ongoing Local Authority DFG projects, our portfolio continues to grow across a variety of sectors.

This diversification not only keeps the business moving forward, but allows our team to build experience across different environments, develop strong relationships with clients and partners, and remain adaptable to the ever-changing construction industry.

Whether it’s a large commercial groundworks package, transforming an existing office space, or delivering a life-changing level access adaptation for a resident — the attention to detail, quality and commitment remains the same.

A big thank you to our team, clients, supply chain and partners for continuing to put their trust in us.

Different sectors. Different challenges. One consistent approach. 🏗️
