Perfectly timed for this client to enjoy this summer. I’m sure you’ll agree with the client, this is another amazing project by the Home Dr.

Gone is the traditional rotting decking.. area extended and finished with composite boards for minimal and easy future maintenance.

Old decking removed and disposed.
Corrected and extended existing subframe
Increased step depth for safety.
Recycled old railings.
Composite boards boards to finish.

Seamless framed finished and not a screw visible for the extra class! 😊

Here’s two examples of part repair/refinishing and maintenance we’ve carried out.

First is due to water damage - this was a completed job from two years ago. Sadly the flooding ruined the entrance hallway and half the reception flooring. As the flooring is still available, the damaged part was removed and refinished properly without quadrants - customer couldn’t tell the difference. 😉

Second is the dreaded worn out subfloor.. you know, the ones that creeks and sinks when stepped on. So a complete 1st floor subfloor replacement. Bedroom 1, hallway and bathroom gets properly graded new floor, with bedrooms 2 & 3 strengthening. 😊

Hope your all enjoying the lovely weather this weekend!

This a hallway and living room flooring uplift for another returning customer.

Gone is the old laminate, which is replaced with a better bevelled edged, scotchgaurd protected farmhouse laminate - the colour works perfectly with her interior.

Instead of using the ugly quadrant trims, the old skirting was also removed and fitted with new Olovo to maintain the seamless look through the house.

Kirstie had a dreaded burst pipe and contacted me in reference to the damaged flooring. In most circumstances, I would have been possible to repair the damaged area but sadly the flooring was no longer available... Instead with a little help, she’s decided on a warmer feel and a much better replacement product. 👍🏻

A warmer 10mm light oak was the final choice. There is no shortcuts with quadrants.. All skirting was removed and refitted for a proper finish! You can see from her review that she’s another very happy customer. 😊

Catching up with more completed work! Ive just realised I seem to be using metro tiles alot, as this is the third post today using this style of tiles. 🙈

This job was for another returning customer Elizabeth Morris. Compared to the earlier kitchen tiling post, this time the upstand was removed and a complete above counter and window tiling, using white metro tiles, gunmetal grout and finished with a straight edged chrome trim to tidy those exposed edges.

This just perfectly finishes off the kitchen, protects against daily use stains and complements the decorating work I completed a few months prior. 😊

This is the small tiling job for Vicky in her new(ish) home, white metro tiles with a dark grey grout, finished with a straight chrome edge trim to smarted the cut bevelled tile edges.. as you can see from the feedback - another very happy customer. 😊

This bathroom remodel was brought forward due to uncovering some awful work during a during a subfloor replacement..

A lot of hard work with everything being gutted from the ceiling down to the floor beams..

Central heating system reworked ✅
Subfloor replaced ✅
Water and waste reworked ✅
New bathroom suite ✅
New towel radiator ✅
New tiling with chrome trims ✅
New flooring ✅

Happy Friday!

I’m humbled to be very busy during these strange times. I know I’ve been very quiet, so making a change to this.. let’s tie off a variety of completed jobs from 2020 before this years 😉

First we have an old friend, however a new customer 🙈 Originally the work started with the staple service, that is decorating (will share separately).. but it turned into additional storage solutions and a customised fitted wardrobe! 😊
