Good afternoon, everybody! ❤️

It’s Shireen, Jake’s wife, just popping on to give everybody a quick update on how Jake is doing.

Unfortunately, the whole Next Level household has been wiped out by this virus! Jake has been bedbound since Sunday, I’ve been feeling under the weather since last Friday, and our little boy is poorly too. It’s safe to say this virus has well and truly knocked us all off our feet!

We’ve had so many messages coming through TikTok, WhatsApp and Facebook, so I just wanted to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everybody who has checked in on Jake and sent us their well wishes. We really do appreciate every single one of you. ❤️

I also want to give a MASSIVE shout-out to Johnny at JJ Driveways for absolutely smashing this Sheffield project and getting it nearly over the line in just a couple of days! 👏 The project will soon be ready for resin, and we honestly cannot thank you enough.

If there’s one company we can recommend to anybody, it’s JJ Driveways. They’ve helped us more than anybody, stepped up when Jake has had to step back, and taken control of the project to get it over the finish line.

Johnny, we genuinely appreciate everything you’ve done for us. Your hard work, support and willingness to step in when we needed it most mean more than you know. Thank you! ❤️

We know there’s a lot of work to do, plenty of messages to respond to and projects to catch up on. Please bear with us, and we promise we’ll get back to everybody as soon as we possibly can.

Jake will be back out doing the installs and creating content again as soon as he’s feeling right as rain. For now, he needs to concentrate on getting better.

Although, in true Jake fashion, he says he feels like he’s been put into a baron200 and left to spin for 12 hours! 😂

Typical Jake… even when he’s poorly, he’s still talking about resin! 🤣

Have you ever had to work into the night just to get a job finished?

I’ve done it. And while some of my midnight installs turned out absolutely fine, I’ve also learnt the hard way that laying resin into the night is NOT something I recommend, especially if you’re new to the trade.

So let’s learn from the mistakes I’ve made.
