🧱 Chimney Re-Flaunching 🧱

Completed last week for a new client of ours, a letting agent in MK with an extensive housing portfolio, we look to build and complete more works alongside another success business in MK.

Chimneys have to be one of the most dangerous parts of a roof, a giant slab on concrete balancing on a slanted roof who would have thought aye lol. Now that’s a bit of an exaggeration but please keep an eye on your chimney as we approach high winds and storms ⛈️, you wouldn’t want a chunk of that falling from that height and hitting someone 😳.

🥱 Got tired old polycarbonate roof sheet? 😴

We’ve replaced a few of these now. There a great option for a cheaper roof covering, problem is years ago people brought the cheap 10mm sheets which over time a prone to cracking and splitting.

🪵 Bricket Wood 🪵/ 🏠 Plot 1 Complete 🏠

That’s plot 1 completed on the Bricket Wood Project, this one was a grueler, Most days were in excess of 25°c that combined with a torch gun and being on a roof in full exposure certainly sorts the boys from the men!

Full Axter overlay was the spec on this plot, we’ve not used Axters Felt before but the stuff is bloody lovely, reinforced flashings on every angle change. The roof was consumed by detail but the boys cracked on and got it over the line just in time for a well deserved holiday 🏝️.

MLC Roofing is going from strength to strength, in just under 2 years we have worked on some pretty special buildings, trusted with school work and secured 21 plots of flat roofing works.
