🏠 Another busy week for the D. Haynes Roofing teams!

Just a little roundup of some of this week’s activities…

We’ve had multiple flat roofs completely stripped and renewed, countless repairs carried out, ridge lines replaced, valleys repaired, fascia work completed, multiple tile repairs — and the list goes on and on!

We’ve also currently got multiple scaffolds up across Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas, ready for all different aspects of roofing work over the coming weeks.

We’d like to take a moment to say a massive thank you to all of our customers for your continued support and patience. Our diaries are extremely busy at the moment, particularly with appointments and surveys, so we genuinely appreciate everyone bearing with us while the team works through the workload.

We’ve got plenty more projects lined up over the next few months, and we’re looking forward to getting through them and completing some fantastic work for our customers.

And remember, for all of your roofing needs across Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas… we’ve got you covered! 🏠🔨

Well, the summer holidays are over! ☀️🔨

Apologies that we’ve been extremely quiet on here, but it’s been full-on behind the scenes with the kids being off school, a family holiday and copious amounts of work!

Here are just a selected few bits from the last few weeks that we’ve been involved with:

• Show home offices stripped out on a new-build site, ready to be converted into a carport ✅
• Mortar and repointing work ✅
• Chimney repairs and maintenance ✅
• Lead apron work ✅
• Valley repairs and maintenance ✅
• Fascia, soffit and guttering jobs ✅
• General roof repairs and maintenance ✅

And just remember, we’re now heading into the wetter months. 🌧️ If you’ve got something that’s been at the back of your mind, you’ve noticed a potential problem, or you’d simply like your roof checked over before winter sets in, feel free to pop an email over to the office and we’ll arrange to come out and have a look for you.

For all of your roofing needs, no matter how small or large…

WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED! 🏠🔨

WHAT BETTER WAY TO START THE WEEK THAN WITH A HUGE POSITIVE! 🙌🏠

On Friday last week, we spent our final day on our Spencer Street project, bringing what has been one of our largest projects to date to a close.

To say this project has run smoothly would be an understatement. From start to finish, there have been a lot of moving parts, and it’s taken everyone working closely together to get the project completed within the timescale allocated.

Throughout the project we’ve worked closely with:

✔️ Listed Building Control – ensuring all works were carried out correctly and sympathetically to the original properties

✔️ Project Management – keeping everything organised, on schedule and communicating throughout

✔️ The Residents – a huge thank you to every single resident for your patience and cooperation while the works have been taking place

✔️ wjsleadworkWill Simpsone thank you to Will and his team for all of the specialist leadwork across the project

✔️d&s scaffolding – a huge thank you to Neil, Catherine and all of the guys for working closely with ourselves and the customer throughout

✔️ Our Roofing Teams – a massive thank you to every member of the team who has worked on site and maintained the standard we expect from start to finish

✔️ Jay – for project managing the works, regularly visiting site and liaising between the teams, residents and office

✔️ Nicola & Mia in the office – keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, organising diaries, materials, scaffolding and everything else that comes with a project of this size

Projects like Spencer Street really do show what can be achieved when everybody works together. 👏

And remember, no job is too big or too small. Whether it’s replacing a single slipped tile, a complete re-roof or taking on a large-scale project like this one, we approach every job with the same care and attention.

For all your roofing needs in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas — we’ve got you covered. 🏠

💐 Appreciation Post 💐

This week, we’d like to take a moment to shine the spotlight on the backbone of D. Haynes Roofing… our amazing office team, Nicola and Mia.

We’d also like to give a special mention to Jay, who has been project managing this job from start to finish. Popping over to site almost every day, liaising with the teams on the ground, keeping in constant contact with the office, and making sure everything has run as smoothly as possible. His hard work and organisation have played a huge part in making this project such a success.

Everyone sees the lads out on the roofs, producing fantastic workmanship day in, day out, but what many people don’t see is everything that goes on behind the scenes to make those jobs happen.

With the unpredictable British weather, diaries are constantly changing. Scaffolding has to be rearranged, skips rescheduled, materials reordered, customers kept informed, survey appointments booked, invoices raised, and the list genuinely goes on and on. It’s a huge job, and without Nicola and Mia keeping everything running like clockwork, the company simply wouldn’t operate as smoothly as it does.

Yesterday, one of our lovely customers turned up at the office with flowers and chocolates as a thank you for all of their hard work on a recent project. Gestures like this really do mean the world to us, and it’s wonderful to see the people working behind the scenes getting the recognition they truly deserve.

It also reflects in the reviews we receive week after week. Great roofing isn’t just about what happens on the roof – it’s about communication, organisation, and making sure every customer feels looked after from the first phone call to the final handover.

To finish the week on a high, we’re also delighted to share another ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review alongside photos of a lovely up-and-over re-roof completed by Miles and Luke. Another fantastic job completed by the team!

A huge thank you to all of our customers for your continued support. It never goes unnoticed. ❤️

🚧 One project nearly complete… onto the next! 🏡

As our huge Spencer Street project comes to an end, it’s time to get the scaffolding up and move straight onto the next batch of re-roofs and the work already booked into our normal diary.

We’ve been incredibly fortunate with the weather over the last few weeks, which has helped this project run exceptionally smoothly. A massive thank you to our fantastic team for all their hard work and to our customers for their patience while we’ve tackled one of our biggest projects to date.

Now… onto the next roofs! 💪

⭐ Feedback Friday ⭐

Let’s finish the week on a positive note with another Feedback Friday! 🙌

A huge thank you to one of our valued customers for taking the time to leave this fantastic review. It genuinely means a lot to us and the whole team.

Like every business, there are occasions where things outside of our control can have a knock-on effect to the diary – whether that’s extreme weather, unforeseen issues on previous jobs, or supplier delays. The one thing we always promise is clear and honest communication. If plans need to change, we make sure our customers are kept informed every step of the way, because we believe good communication is just as important as good workmanship.

Thank you again for your trust and support. Reviews like this remind us why we do what we do. 💙
