A bit about the man behind BR…

Colm, a native Irishman, has been running Better Roofing MK in England for the last 9 years. He started roofing back in Ireland and, after travelling through Asia, India and Australia in his 20s, settled in New Zealand for 5 years. While there, he mainly worked on metal roofing for some pretty luxurious homes.

It was in New Zealand that he met his English wife, Steph, and they later moved back to England to raise a family. Colm now has three children and a fluffy dog called Pancake, when he’s not on a roof, he loves skiing, running marathons, cycling, brewing beer and reading books.

Colm has worked on roofs across three different continents and spent years travelling and living in other countries. He’s friendly, professional and reliable (just to let you know, his wife is writing this — and he’ll probably kill me for it later 😄). But sometimes it’s nice to know the face behind the business.

Better Roofing MK is a small, family-run company, with just Colm and Ben on the tools. It’s not a big company sending different people out each time — just a small team that genuinely tries to do the best for its customers and finishes the day happy with a friendly customer and a warm cup of tea on the job ☕️
