New academic years. New careers. New opportunities.

As education institutions welcome learners for another academic year, we'd like to thank two members of our team, Esther Apio and Oskar Maslanka, as their one-year fixed-term contracts come to an end.

Over the past year they have made a valuable contribution to our projects and the wider team, and it has been a pleasure to work with them.

Whether continuing their education or pursuing new career opportunities, we wish them every success in the future.

At the same time, we're delighted to welcome new talent to the practice and look forward to the next chapter.

Good luck to everyone embarking on a new academic year, a new course, or a new career path.

Great to see one of our projects featured by The National Self Build & Renovation Centre in collaboration with the Passivhaus Trust.
We were the architects and Passivhaus designers on this scheme, which demonstrates how reduced running costs, comfort, and future‑proofing really come down to the detail.
We’re looking forward to being at the Passivhaus Workshop at the NSBRC on Friday 24 April — a great event for anyone considering a low‑energy self‑build or renovation.

As we count down to our presentation at the Passivhaus Workshop on 24th April at TThe National Self Build & Renovation Centre we’re launching a short series exploring why aiming for Passivhaus certification truly matters.

Too often, projects “pick and choose” a few Passivhaus features — but without the full, integrated approach, the comfort, health and energy‑saving benefits simply can’t be guaranteed. Over the coming weeks, we’ll break down the common misunderstandings and share why a certified Passivhaus is so much more than the sum of its parts.
