Just completed 15meters of Picket Fencing along the side this customers driveway. They previously had a post and rail fence which they disposed of themselves as it was very rotten and falling apart.

This fence was built using double notched posts every 1.8m and 3.6m arris rails to give this fence the ultimate strength.
The final result definitely gives it a clean and tidy look.

Back at a very loyal customer of mine, completing the install of these stunning dipped elite eydon driveway gates from Main Line Timber
As well as installing the gates, I replaced the gate posts as one was completely rotten. The new posts were protected as always.

The previous gates were a mix of field gates which weren’t ideal for a driveway, one was starting to bow due to the weight of timber that had been added to it.

The new gates really do transform this entrance now with some style and elegance.

I recently took on another groundsman role, as well as looking after the cricket ground, I have now taken on looking after the football pitch at New Bradwell.

Stay tuned for updates on all the work I get up to on the pitch.

So far I’ve slit tined it in 2 directions and also given it a double cut. There’s along way to go to get it up to the expectations I have for it, but I’ll get there.

It’s been a tough season this year keeping the cricket square alive with all the heatwaves we’ve had, but the I managed to produce some really good pitches that had something in it for both batters and bowlers.

To finish it all off, we at New Bradwell Cricket Club had premiershipsportsturf come in to complete our end of season renovations by completely koroing our square to help reduce all the saddles and level the square off after years of topping it up.
I’m really pleased with the end results. And can’t recommend Ben and Simon highly enough.

This customer got in contact with me as her garden wall was crumbling away.
She wanted to change it for some sleepers instead and I obliged. I added in a step as well as extending one section to give her more room for planting some of her many flowers that were in pots.
All the sleepers were protected with a dpm paint.

This customer came to us wanting a base installed ready for a new shed to sit.
I gave them a few options, and they decided on a gravel grid system. In my opinion a very good option as it’ll drain well, which in turn will help protect the bottom of the new shed for a lot longer.

This customer wanted this fence panel removed and a gate installed for a wider access point to their garden.
Due to size of the gap, the gate had to be a made to measure one, and there was only one place to go for that Main Line Timber
We had a beautiful Woodford made and installed along with 2 big gate posts that could handle the weight of that gate.

A lovely way to finish the week.
