Progress begins with open conversation.

Yesterday, our Group CEO John McGee joined The Inside Data Centre Pubcast, hosted by Andy Davis of DataX Connect and Rory Flashman-Wells, alongside fellow panellists Paul Hood MIET MCIBSE of AVK-SEG, Russell Poole of Apto and Scott Smyth of Soben, to discuss one of the industry’s most pressing challenges of how we reshape perceptions and attract the next generation of talent into the data centre sector.

We've hit a major milestone in our apprenticeship programme!

Lewis Allen has become our first apprentice to successfully complete four years of training to become a certified Electrician.

We've watched Lewis acquire vital industry certifications, hone his craft and pass assessments at his time with Durata so far, and now the future is looking bright!

Our apprenticeship opportunities are designed to offer hands-on training and experience on critical projects across the UK and beyond. Developing the next generation of professionals is something we are incredibly proud of.

We were delighted to be invited on the panel at the Vision31 event hosted at AV Dawson Limited.

This was a collaboration of successful North East businesses, all gathered to discuss the pioneering spirit present in the region.

Our Quality Director, Alison McGee, spoke on their panel about the monumental growth the North East has seen recently, especially within the critical power and data centre industry.

With a background in consulting and senior leadership roles at Vertiv, Thales, Network Rail and Cummins, he is known for his practical, people-first approach to delivery - combining innovation, sustainability and structured thinking.
