**Rope Access was not the most suitable access solution on this project**

Having said that. After firstly using a MEWP which was no longer an option due to it in need of repair. We offered the client our rope access service to complete the project on time.

Here is another Rope Access Insulation project we completed last week.

The options and comments considered to insulate the pipe work on top of the vessel;

Scaffolding-
Too expensive and time consuming

MEWP-
There mewp was unable to get close enough to the vessel due to plant equipment.

Rope Access-
Perfect solution. From gaining access to the pipe work to insulating and cladding the whole task was completed within a few hours. Comparatively saving time and staying within the clients budget.

Yes we have been called the Rope Access Insulation Specialists but our teams do also use other forms of access. I recieved a message asking if we only use rope access on projects we undertake, so I forwarded on this video from a project currently underway.

On this project we are insulating the pipework with foil faced rockwool and the finish is plain aluzinc.

All valves and flanges will have removable and reusable jackets.

The access used on this project was a mixture of scaffolding and the use of a scissor lift.

So here is another CNN Thermal Insulation Rope Access Project. After our last post of the insulation project, which was complete using rope access. We had many enquires on what rope access is and how companies can use this access service to their advantage.

Rope access was the most suitable solution to our clients needs on this occasion. Due to a section of
the wall being a single layer brick, scaffolding could not be tied into the building. We used structural
steel as our anchor points which then once the ropes had been put in place gave us access to insulate the ducting.

Not only do we save the client money, we also saved them time.
