Back once again with another install and happy client!!

This job was a bit bigger than the ones I usually do but you know ya boy is always ready and prepared to make your vision a reality.

I was contacted by the client to see if I could install an outside socket for a new hot tub him and his wife were purchasing. The hot tub needed a dedicated supply and unfortunately his garage only had a 2.5mm supply into a switch fuse spur…. Not quite enough 😤
But no biggie, I quoted him for a new 6mm supply into a small garage consumer unit with his lights and sockets in his garage on their own dedicated circuits, and another dedicated circuit for his armoured cable supplied outside socket for the hot tub.

I called in to help me with this one and I couldn’t be happier with the end product! 5 holes cut in the kitchen to get the new supply out, all patched back in and a brand new cu in the garage with plenty of spare ways for anything they want to add in the future 🤩

Lastly we found two faulty light fittings so you know we fitted their new ones for them whilst we were there 😎💪🏾

Thank you for helping me on this job mate, couldn’t have done it without you! If anyone’s looking for a quality spark in the Carterton area, make sure you give him a shout 👍🏾👍🏾

Last post for the evening: Another successful job in the books! Switched out the old switches for some sleek chrome ones and installed a brand-new outside socket for added convenience. 💡🔌 Always a pleasure to upgrade a client’s space.

Client came to me with a dull, dim & dated light and a fan that didn’t work… I left him with 4 beautiful down-lights and a brand new IPX4 super quiet fan for their en-suite. Not a bit of patching required 👍🏾 crazy the difference some proper lighting will make right?

Nice and easy light fitting change this morning!

This customer messaged me last, she had the light and was obviously concerned about the old light hanging by it connections 😬 (Swipe for the before)
I managed to get it sorted for her the very next morning 👍🏾💡

Hello and Welcome Everyone 👋🏾

It can be scary hiring someone you've never met (and I've found that people are usually quite shocked when they meet me 😅) so I thought I'd do a quick introduction to Alex Prince and what you can expect from me.

Originally from Sutton, Surrey, I left school after my A-Levels and went straight to work in hospitality. Starting at the fries station in a well known fast food brand I worked hard and progressed up to the level of Restaurant Manager (of another well known restaurant brand) by the age of 26. I stayed at that level for 3 years achieving lots of success and learning invaluable skills that I still use today. At the end of my 3rd year as RM and after 11 total years in the hospitality sector, I knew I was done!! It was no longer challenging for me and I was tired of the anti social hours. I knew I needed a change, but I didn't know what I wanted to do 🤔 so I packed my bags and went travelling 👋🏾

My travels took me through India, Hong Kong, China and New Zealand over the course of 18 months and they were some of the best memories of my life. But there were two things I learnt and knew to be true when I came back. 1) I wanted to work with my hands, and 2) I wanted to work for myself, and build a business that I could use to support my future family and loved ones.

I looked into apprenticeships outside of London and away from home as I knew I wouldn't be earning much and I knew I would have to focus and minimise distractions. So here we are!! In the beautiful village of Wantage (which I've grown to love) surrounded by countryside and lovely people. I'm nearly two years into my apprenticeship with a year/18 months left until I'm qualified.

I have experience with many areas of the field including:-
- Lighting
- Sockets
- Supply & Consumer Units
- Garage/Annex/Extension wiring and fittings
- Heating
And much more! I'll never take on a job that I'm not capable of and if I am capable of it I guarantee I'll complete it to the best of my abilities! So get in touch and let's see how I can make your wants and needs a reality 😁
