Wow what an amazing 3 days that has been at The Artisan Show Staunton Harold. As you can see there was very little left by the end of today.

Massive thank you to everyone that came to see me over the weekend, so many returning customers an lots of new ones too. Thanks also to Becky and Leigh The Artisan Show for creating and managing such a wonderful event! Off for an early night now as im exhausted!! Well what a wonderful first day that was. Took all these photos an then never actually got chance to post them!

‘Daz’….. not made one of these for so long, but they are definitely one of my favourites. They’re made from a vintage racket frame, not sure which racket! An it has an old wooden ruler lining the inside. But the best bit is the original Daz soap powder bag.

‘Clockwork mind’ …..

Something very different from me this time, feel it may be a bit of a marmite piece, but personally I love it!!

This is something I’ve had for ages an knew what I wanted to create with it, just couldn’t figure out how to make it. Today it all came together. My favourite bit is the vintage shopping list with the title of the piece on. This will be coming with me to The Artisan Show later this month. Would love some feedback on it…. Rhubarb Tree

You’re not seeing things, this is actually a new piece from Rhubarb Tree!! Not made anything all year which is terrible, but equally how things are atm. Anyway I have a fabulous event to attend next month The Artisan Show so need to be prepared and have lots of stock.

Wow can’t believe I’m writing this, but I have actually completed my 50km in May challenge this morning. Had the boy wonder with me to keep me going, as it was very hard in the heat.

Incase you missed the first post the reason I’ve been doing this challenge, is to raise money for the it’s a cause very close to my heart. I sadly lost twins a while ago now, a boy an a girl. I’ve never been able to do anything for them as their mum, so this was for them. An also all the monies raised goes to support other families who are dealing with loss.

If you wanted to donate that would be amazing, but equally a thumbs up for doing it is just as good. I was a complete non runner 3 weeks ago, so I’ve amazed myself tbh and I do intend to keep it up.

Well that’s the first week of running done!! Ive gone from not running at all for over 35 years to doing 16km in the last week. Muscles are aching that I didn’t even know I had!!

But I have surprised myself by how much I’m actually enjoying it. An even more thrilled with how many lovely kind people that have donated. The work the does is invaluable. To be able to help another family go through what I experienced is the reason I keep going. I may be slow but I’m getting there!! Thanks for all your support!
