I had a customer ask if I could jazz this side gate up for her. Now, if I’d have tried to scrape, rub down and paint it myself, it would have taken me a month of Sundays! And it wouldn’t look anywhere near as good as it does now, after having taken it to Conqueror Industries in Royston. Julian and the team there provided an absolutely top class service and swift turn around time. Couldn’t recommend these guys any more if I tried. A very happy client.

My lovely new van only came with one key, needed a second one doing and opportunity came knocking today in the form of Engrave Cut and Copy. Dave was on site where I was working sorting out another key for one of the other tradesmen so I just floated the question “how much to do me a spare mate?” Spoke to his boss and within half hour, bang. New key. Great service, great guys and could thoroughly recommend to anyone. Auto locks and general locksmith’s. Spot on lads, thank you.

Have you got a space that’s just crying out for being made use of? This is exactly what we have done here. Odd shape, not really fitting for flat pack wardrobes etc so we built this whole unit as per the customers wishes to make the most of the space. Fitted a new door to access the loft space further along the wall, set a base onto the floor, then constructed cupboards to accommodate storage, hanging space and shelves internally. Customer is fitting handles once they have had it decorated. Updated photos of that will follow, but this gives a good idea for now of what we can do with these dead spaces. First bathroom of 2026 completed yesterday for some lovely customers.
Took all sanitary ware out to be re used, but fitted a new bigger shower and screen and electric shower. Lots of spacers needed for the nearly 10m2 of 100mm x 200mm Matt white metro tiles! Finished off in Manhattan Bal grout. Existing sanitary ware cleaned up and re fitted and job done. You will notice no decoration was done but thankfully the customer Tim is a very good decorator by trade so he’s going to get it all looking lovely now I’m out the way! Tim Blake decorating for info.
O C Electrical fitted a new recessed LED spot and wired in the new shower, Pear Plumbing and Heating did the shower and towel rail for me, Mark Shepherd fitted the new vinyl flooring and little ole me did the rest! A share or a like is always appreciated and as ever, please do get in touch with any refurbishment requests.

Just got round to taking some photos today of a bathroom completed before Christmas, better late than never hey! A nice little upgrade to this bathroom I’d say. All electrical work carried out by O C Electrical, plumbing by Pear Plumbing and Heating, plastering from T&J Plastering Contractors, flooring fitted by Mark Shepherd and MJF did the rest! Happy customers as I promised it would be done in time for family visiting for Christmas 😉 🎅

Busy busy job completed last week, two bathrooms in one house! Family bathroom are the first pictures and then the en suite are the second lot. Got a bit trigger happy with ripping out so no before photos! All plumbing was carried out by Pear Plumbing and Heating of Melbourn, plastering courtesy of T&J Plastering contractors, vinyl flooring laid by Mark Shepherd and I did the rest! The cupboard at the end of the bath wasn’t there before but the clients wanted to get some extra storage space within the room so that was built from scratch then shelves fitted inside, with a new door made to finish. Clients decorated it all.

Bespoke built unit for this customer just finished this morning, made entirely to their specifications. Finished with 32mm chrome k***s and doors set on Blum soft close hinges. Customer to prep and decorate.
